In 2004 we bought new bikes. They are by Specialized. The saddle is a Specialized Expedition Plus.
I thought about changing seats when I saw the split saddles in the store. I thought they might be more comfortable. I decided to try out the one that came with the bike for awhile and if I didn’t like it then make a switch. For a long time I was happy with that. However since we don’t cover our bikes the saddle started to rip. It was either a new saddle or a saddle cover. I went with Serfs Reactive Gel Unisex seat cover.

this is like the best seat ever. Soft, smooth, makes riding a bike much more comfortable and enjoyable. If you have not tried one yet then you are missing out.
