If you don't use makeup base of primer, you're not getting the most out of your makeup. I wouldn't wear foundation or anything else without first priming my face. Although I like Philosophy's The Present and Smashbox's Face Primer, I also really like Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base. This creamy, thin base smoothes on easily and is colorless on the face. It feels velvety and assures that your foundation and other cosmetics stay on your face, not in your pores. The best thing about this is that it's just $12.00 for an ounce. Smashbox's primer is three times that amount for an ounce! I really like this base and use it quite a bit. I am not sure it is my favorite but it one of my top three all time favorites and I have tried many. If you are new to makeup bases and primers or you just want a good primer that doesn't cost a small fortune, try this one. You won't be disappointed.

Effective, performs great, and is relatively inexpensive. I have no complaints about Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base and highly recommend it. 5 stars!
