My Take on Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base

I have tried many makeup primers and bases and I have three that I really like. Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base is one of them. This one ounce tube is just  $12.00 and it lasts for months. I have had mine for at least six or seven months and I still have plenty left. Only a small amount of this light, white cream is needed. Apply it on your bare face before makeup application. It has a great scent and a nice dewy consistency.

Then go about your usual makeup routine. You will notice your makeup looks fresher and it lasts hours longer. It doesn't fade or seep into pores because Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base is protecting against that. Using this base is like prepping a wall to be painted. You get it even and smooth and use primer, then you paint it. Without prepping, the paint doesn't look nearly as nice.

I have been using this base for a few years and, every time I use it, I wonder why I even have others. This one is just so good! I particularly like that it's hydrating because I can always use the extra moisture. It  isn't greasy in the least though and absorbs almost immediately.

The tube is not fancy and the name brand is a store brand (That would be Sephora, the cosmetics junkies' supplier.) but Sephora knows makeup and they sure do know how to make a good, affordable makeup base. I pay much more for others that do similar things with slightly different textures and tints. Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base is great for anyone who wants to try out a makeup base but doesn't want to sink a lot of money into it. You'll love it. Your makeup will stay fresh and fade-free for many hours!

My Viewpoint

Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base is one of my top three makeup bases and has been for quite a while. It's simple yet super effective. I have never broken out or had clogged pored when I used it and my makeup always looks fresh for many hours. I rarely have to touch up anything when Sephora Professionnel Perfection Makeup Base is on my skin under my makeup. What's not to love? 5 stars.
