The toothpaste is very helpful in teeth sensitivity at the gum line. I have noticed when I stop using is my teeth become sensitive again so the product must be used continually. I also think the fresh taste is good too.

Enjoy your Ice Cream, with Sensodyne Maximum Strength Toothpaste

Have sensitive teeth affected your eating habits? Depending on the severity of the problem, tooth sensitivity can make a difference in one's daily diet, forcing some people to eliminate or curb consumption of hot or cold foods. But there is a solution to a problem like this: **Sensodyne Maximum Strength Toothpaste with Fluoride.** **Toothpaste Commentary:** Sensodyne Maximum Strength Toothpaste with Fluoride is a mint- flavored toothpaste with fluoride for cavity protection and potassium nitrate to treat sensitive teeth. Continuous brushing with this Sensodyne product each day has been proven to cut down or eliminate tooth sensitivity completely, helping return ones' eating life to normal. I have some slight sensitivity in my front teeth and it is especially noticeable when I eat something cold, such as ice cream. I don't have any such issue with hot food and drink- only cold. And given my love of ice cream and cold beverages, there is no way I'm going to allow sensitive teeth to stand between me and my indulgences. My sensitivity isn't bad, but if there is a simple cure, I will take advantage and Sensodyne Maximum Strength Toothpaste with Fluoride is that simple cure. Brush with this toothpaste for several days and you will notice a difference. Your once sensitive reactions gradually fade each day until they dwindle down to nothing or next to nothing within a two- week window of time. Sensodyne Maximum Strength Toothpaste with Fluoride has an okay taste that is acceptable, but not as fresh as that of other, non- sensitive prevention toothpastes. Another potential problem is the time necessary to repair the sensitivity problem. I have used this product and felt a difference each day, but it wasn't until about the tenth day of use that the problem was completely behind me. **Bottom Line Viewpoint:** Sensodyne Maximum Strength Toothpaste with Fluoride is an effective product, but it does take many days to completely desensitize the teeth. Its taste isn't incredible, and thus it doesn't freshen breath as well as regular toothpastes. But compared to other toothpastes made for sensitive teeth, this one is pretty good and it should have the problem under control in less than two weeks.

Sensodyne Maximum Strength helped me with my sensitive teeth

I began to have very sensetive teeth to cold drinks and to cold air. My dentist recomended Sensodyne Maximum Strength with Fluoride. I have been using it for close to a year now. My sensativity has gone down greatly, sometimes even I don't have it for weeks. I also noticed that my gums are bleeding less, they have become much stronger since I've been using this toothpaste. My husband has been using it also, and he has seen the same results, much stronger teeth and less sensativity to everything. I would totaly recomend this toothpaste to anyone who suffers with sensitivity in their teeth. Great product to protect the teeth and make gums healthy. You will not waste your money when you buy this toothpaste!

Sensitive no more!

Ok first let me say, I know it cost more than the average toothpaste but.... its worth it.  I would pay for it any day to not have to deal with sensitivity anymore while eating or drinking.  This toothpaste was actually reffered to me by my dentist.  He said that I brush too hard and that is causing my sensitivity exposing my root a little.  He even said I could just dab a little on the affected area every day and it will help. Boy was he right.  One thing that he did stress was that in order for it to work you needed to be consistent with this.  I tested his theory and he was right. :) again... So the key is use it and use it everyday.  The taste is not bad at all.  Its minty fresh which I like, it not only handles your sensitivity but bad breath too.  Well worth the cost.  Sensodyne even has a few different flavors although I prefer this one.  I find that the tube lasts just a long as any of my older toothpaste tube did.  Great product.

Wow, This Really Works, Oh Not Really!!

***Bottom-Line***: ***Sensodyne Maximum Strength w/Fluoride Toothpaste*** is great tasting, but it does not help sooth my too sensitive gums! I hate brushing my teeth, there I've said it, I own it.  And I hate flossing even more!  Hate it I might, but I still want a toothpaste that works; i.e. cleans, kills germs, and freshens breath.  But lately I have started to have an issue with sensitive gums; swallowing anything even remotely cold hurts like the dickens.  So what toothpaste can step up and fulfill all of my needs?  I thought it might be *Colgate Maximum Strength Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste; *it worked for a while, but... So then I tried ***Sensodyne Maximum Strength w/Fluoride Toothpaste***; I got it from the dentist office during my recent visit.  It was small trail tube, but enough to perform a valid test. **The 411** ***Sensodyne Maximum Strength w/Fluoride Toothpaste**** *contains 5% Potassium Nitrate, which *Sensodyne *claims is clinically proven to sooth the sensitive nerves and "*Relieves Painful Sensitivity." * **My Viewpoint **Sadly ***Sensodyne Maximum Strength w/Fluoride Toothpaste*** does little to relieve my gun sensitivity.  Not even a little!  Even less so than *Colgate Maximum Strength Sensitive Whitening Toothpaste*.     *  * However, the toothpaste tastes great and leaves my teeth and mouth feeling clean and fresh, but the feeling does not last for long.  Whether or not the toothpaste continues to do its other business-that is fight gingivitis, tartar & plaque buildup-is entirely subjective.

Sensodyne is great for sensitive teeth

Every once in a while my teeth get very sensitive.  I buy sensodyne and use it for a coupole of days.  Then my teeth get better.  After buying a tube or two I forget that my teeth are sensitive and go back to normal toothpaste because my teeth are no longer sensitive.  I think this means that the product works!  I am not sure why or when my teeth get sensitive.  I noticed this year that it was in the winter and maybe that brings it on.  I highly recommend sensodyne to anyone who is experiencing sensitivity with eating cold or hot foods.  I think it really helps soothe that unbarable pain.  Sensodyne tastes fine.  I have been using a tube lately and couldn't even describe the flavor because it is like normal toothepaste.  There are a few different flavors.  The price is more expensive than regular toothpaste, but it is definately worth paying when your teeth start feeling that way.  I have been using sensodyne of an on for about 10+ years.

So glad they came out with this product.  My teeth are very sensitive to both hot and cold food items.  My dentist told me about sensodyne and gave me a sample to try for two weeks.  After using it for just that short time I could already feel the changes in my teeth especially when I would drink something cold.  I have tried several of the flavors they offer and can say all have been fine.  I have noticed my teeth are a bit whiter. It does make my mouth feel very fresh. Almost like you have brushed and used mouth wash but only having to brush.  The only thing is at times I feel that it does not last that long and I have to brush my teeth an extra time to get that fresh feeling during the day.  But so worth that little compromise to not have the pain from sensitivity to hold and cold items.  After going to my dentist when I had been using it for 6 months he told me that he could see an improvement in my teeth.  I tends to run on the pricey side, but I usually try to grab it when on sale and have a coupon.

Sensodyne works

I originally got this product because my dad recommended it to me.  Him along with my mother have very sensitive teeth and they have been using the regular sensodyne for years.  I have had no history of tooth sensitivity until i tried to whiten my teeth.  My teeth become so sensitive that it was hard to even drink cold water, let alone eat cold foods such as ice cream.  Not wanting to discontinue my tooth whiteners, I went searching for some sort of alternative to combat the sensitivity.  I was able to find this toothpaste very easily at the drug store.  There are several flavors, but I prefer the mint because I find it really leaves my breath minty fresh.  I started using the product and was very pleased.  I was able to tell that the pain from the sensitivity had been reduced after a few uses and continued to be reduced with continued use.  I absolutely recommend this product, especially if you are, or plan to whiten your teeth.

No more tooth pain.

I noticed that I was having tooth pain when I drank anything cold or hot.  I went to the dentist as I just knew I had cavities.  After a intense exam by my dentist he determined that I had sensitive teeth.  I didn't really understand what that meant.  He went on to explain that my teeth had pores just like my skin and the pores in my teeth were larger than what they should be.  Because of the size of the pores when my teeth were exposed to extreme heat or cold I would feel the discomfort.  I had a couple of options.  First he said he could fill the teeth that were causing me the most problems but that would mean a full tooth filling for each tooth that was extremely sensitive.  Or I could try a tooth paste that was directly geared to help this problem.  I said I would like to try the tooth paste first to see if it made any difference before I came in to have fillings done on teeth that didn't have cavities.  I used Sensodyne maximum strength with fluoride toothpaste I felt immediate relief. I can now drink hot and cold beverages with no discomfort.  I use this toothpaste twice a day and I would never use anything else.

SENSODYNE MAXIMUM STRENGTH WITH FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTE

3

I've recently started using this toothpaste after I was experiencing sensitivity in my bottom teeth. It's not a hard toothache but there is an occasional issue when I'm drinking cold water. Over the few years, the dental assitant has recommended using Sensodyne. I picked up Sensodyne and have been using it for about a week now. I use it two or three times a day. I can not say as of right now that I feel a difference. I still have minor and occasional sensitivity to my teeth. Unfortunately, I don't know that it's a hard toothache and should go see the dentist. I have been brushing with it a bit longer in the area that's been an issue. Perhaps I need to use it for two to three weeks before I consider this product not really useful. I don't seen a change in my sensitivity issue. I will use the entire tube since it is toothpaste to clean teeth. I know the package says to use at least four weeks, then go see a dentist/doctor if the pain persist. That's a long time to wait.
