This is the Sennheister EH-150 headphones; they are a circumaural (fits over you ears) type of headphone. The general sound quality is amazing and the bass is very good. The one thing about these headphones that bothered me is that they are somewhat tight. I have a relatively small head but these headphones would not feel comfortable to wear for an extended period of time (more than one hour). My ears would get all sweaty and my temples would get imprinted from my eyeglasses. Also, these headphones come with a seriously long cable. In fact, it is ten feet long. I don't know why this is (perhaps these are meant for DJ use?). That actually makes sense since these do come with a 1/4 inch adapter for your stereo system. So the bottom line is this -- the Sennheiser EH-150 are very affordable and has excellent sound quality. The one true downside is that it is very uncomfortable for extended use. Do not buy if you consider your head to be larger than average.
