These headphones are one of the best you can get, aside from the pricier Grados, yet these are more comfortable than Grados. I own both, and use the Seinheiser HD 650 for daily use at the office, due to it being easy on the earlobes and side of my head. They cover your ear with soft velvety fabric and can extend your listening experience for hours and hours while you're working at your office cube. It'll block out the office chit-chat and other nonsense noise pollution from your cubical neighbors. The sound fidelity is excellent, and quite enjoyable from lows to highs. For durability, they have designed the cord to be detachable from the phones, so any mishap you may have, such as snagging the cord on your office chair when you turn your chair around, will ensure that the cord detaches from the headphones immediately, thus saving you from damaging the cord or headphones. You can then just simply reattach the cords and continue your business. The band is wide and quite sturdy, and the cloth for the ear muffs are soft and have stood the test of time. I've had these for a few years, and only have a few minor wear and tear signs on the inside of the ear muffs. You can't go wrong with these headphones.
