What can you do when 2 people with different tastes try to decide on one sleeping surface? The Select Comfort is wonderful in that it allows you both to decide how soft or firm your side of the mattress is. We have loved the ability to play with numbers and decide what works best for us. You really can't know that a mattress works for you until you have slept on it several nights and with this mattress we could try out different firmness or softness as we pleased. It turns out we actually both liked the same number and firmness, but it took us awhile before we both settled down with our desired numbers. If anything happens that we need a different sleeping number (injury, illness, etc..) we have the option of changing the mattress at any time. It was a breeze to set up and would be easy to move. It has held up extremely well and we especially enjoy the added mattress topper that gives it a bit more cushion.
