We got the Sleep Number bed when our waterbed finally sprung a leak after 16 years of service. I was skeptical at first about whether an air mattress could provide adequate support, but I have been pleasantly surprised! I sleep soundly, don't need to toss and turn to find just the right position, and can adjust the level of firmness quickly and easily with the touch of a button. There are two things I would do to make Select Comfort's product even better: 1. Periodic monitoring of air pressure to ensure the mattress retains its desired inflation point; and 2. offer a heated mattress pad. Coming...

The Select Comfort King-sized dual comfort control mattress was just the ticket for my husband and me.  My husband is 6' 4" and has had back problems for most of his life.  When we purchased this mattress, his aches and pains from sleeping were almost gone overnight.  I love the mattress, but have a problem with the mattress cover holding body heat.  Other than that, I'd recommend it to anyone!

We are still using our 17 year old mattress and it feels as good as it did on day one although we have to pump it up every night. it takes a while to figure out how you like it, but it's nice that you can adjust it over time, if your preferences change. However, we removed the foam pillow top and replaced it with 3" memory foam topper. Much better.
