This toy keeps slobber off and away from your hands. My dog really enjoys this reason to go out and play. This is a really good toy, and isn't very affective when used inside. The actual chuckit however should be put up when not in use, or younger, and occasionally older dogs will destroy the stick.

This Chuck It! toy makes playing catch easy with dogs that love to run for balls. I have both large and small dogs and they all really love this toy. Normally, I only use this when we go to the park since I don't want to break things in the house, but I think they have come up with a version with softer balls for indoor play. This toy makes it very easy to throw your ball super far. It doesn't take much energy, but it sure takes the energy out of the dogs! If your dog knows how to fetch, you really just have to sit there and launch the ball and wait for your dog to bring it back. My larger dogs seem to be able to grasp these balls better due to their larger jaws, but my small dog enjoys chasing her bigger brothers just as much. This is a great toy for dogs that need to burn off some energy. Just make sure you play somewhere where no people around. I accidentally whacked a bystander in the head when he stood too close to me!

This product is WONDERFUL!  My little jack russell gets excited at just the sight of Chuck it!  She will chase the ball for hours to play with the chuck it.  I am able to throw the ball much farther than I could on my own, and it is much more sanitary and safe as I don't have to touch the ball when she brings it back.  Being able to retrieve the ball with the handle also saves my back from a lot of bending.  Once you master the art of the chuck it, which only takes one or two tries, you and your dog will be hooked!

We have 2 dogs in our house and one is a lab mix that needs to run daily. She is now 7 yrs. old, and I have been using the Chuck It ball launcher since she was a pup. It is the only toy that I bring on our daily walk, and I throw til she gets exhausted. As any high energy dog owner knows, it can be difficult to tire a dog out in the course of the day and the Chuck It was a godsend from day one. The ball travels a long way and it keeps my dog moving in the direction that I want to be going. Sometimes I just carry it along on our walks just to keep her focused on staying with me and not wandering off in the foxtail filled bushes. She is so obsessed with it, that no matter how tired she is, she will always run and retrieve her ball. Great toy.

I love this thing. It is the best ever invention for a girl who has a dog who wants to chase a ball, but has no throwing arm. It is very easy to use and very user friendly. All you have to do is bend over and place the ball back into the handle when the dog brings the ball back. The chuck it enables you to throw the ball much farther than you would normally be able to throw it. The balls are bright, so its easy to find your ball when your dog wanders off and forgets to fetch the ball. It is also nice not to have to touch the dogs slobbery ball after it brings it back to you! Simply scoop the ball back up with the chuck it and viola! you are ready for another throw. Doggie will get great excersise as well! The handle seems pretty durable, it outlasted my dog in her puppy stage ( she would always try and chew the handle when she retrieved the ball). It has been the best investment I have made, and it is fairly inexpensive.

We just got a chuck it for our two year old female lab about two weeks ago. She slobbers all over her toys and it's nasty. We used to only throw her toys while wearing rubber gloves but not any more. It's nice to be able to not have to touch that slober ball anymore and be able to really launch the ball even farther for her to wear her out faster. I will have to say some of the best money I have spent in a long time for a dog toy. We are planning on buying a few more to keep in each car for when we are out and about with her to play with her. Now I look forward to throwing the ball for her, were as before it was more like a chore that I felt like I had to do and did not enjoy it.

We have a 5 year old doberman pinscher that loves to play fetch. We also have the full-size model of this thrower, but also bought this junior model for travel. The thrower fits conveniently in a backpack for trips. The thrower is amazingly durable. Our dog occassionally chews on the end and it has held up perfectly so far. This thrower definately saves your arm when your dog wants to constantly play fetch and you don't end up with slobber on your hands either! This thrower also launches the ball much farther than I ever could. We play with our dog 2-3 times a day with this and it is perfect for getting his exercise in. It saves us hours a day that we used to have to walk him to get his exercise. This thrower is also great for playing in the water since it floats! The balls that come with the thrower aren't the most durable, but it is great that the thower will hold a regular tennis ball.

I wasn't sure that Chuck It Ball Launcher was going to help me with my "girly" throws.  But it did!  We had such a good time playing ball at the park.  I was thrilled I could throw the ball way out there for my dogs to run and fetch.  And when they brought the ball back I didn't have to touch the slimey thing.  I used the Chuck It to pick it up and throw it again. I'd launch the ball across the field and throw an air ball that would bounce real high on the landing and they'd catch it.  It was actually fun.  I'm not sure what part I liked more, the fact that I could launch a ball clear across a field or that I didn't have to actually touch the icky ball when it was brought back.  Another bonus?  Two very tired dogs.  And "Mom" didn't have a sore arm!  Whoo hoo

This allows me to play a much longer game of fetch with my dog than I would otherwise. I can throw the ball much further and more easily than I could normally. It also makes it easier to pick up the ball when my dog drops it for me, since with the Chuck It Jr. I don't have to bend over as far. This is a great toy. I even use mine to throw the ball as a reward for dog during training. Enjoy!

The chuck-it is our Lab's favorite toy.  We have small ones, large ones, orange ones, purple ones.  You can never have too many of these!  Our Lab could chase balls forever.  One of the nice things about the chuck-it is that you can fling it so far.  Your dog gets a lot of good exercise.  Another feature I really appreciate is that you can pick up the ball without getting all slimy.  The smaller chuck-it is good for children to use.  They might not have the arm strength to get the right fling action the larger chuck-it requires.  It also is good for smaller dogs that wouldn't need to run as far as a larger dog.  There are all types of balls that fit into the chuck-it, including your average tennis ball.  However, you can also get more durable, rubber balls that last longer and work well in water.
