I purchased several of the See & Be Seen flashlights several months ago, and they are excellent. I bought these flashlights because they were on sale at the local hardware store, and turned out to be one of the best purchases I've made. First, they are both useful for your home during power outages and in your car for breakdown/rescue/emergency purposes. The top portion of the flashlight is a standard LED that runs on three AA batteries. Because it is an LED, it is brighter, illuminates further, and the batteries have lasted much longer than other flashlights. The bottom portion lights up red and has a strobe feature for emergencies. A unique feature of this flashlight is that the bottom is removable, so that you can leave the strobbing light at the site of emergency and carry the top portion to light your way. It is made out of very durable plastic and has lasted through many uses. I definitely recommend this flashlight as it is so multi-functional.
