I needed a deodorant and I had a $3.00 off coupon at CVS. The Secret Platinum Clear Gel Scent Expressions Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant Vanilla Chai intrigued me in spite of it being well over $3.00. I would pay that for an organic, not tested on animal product but not usually on a deodorant like this.

There are a few varieties of this 2.7- ounce deodorant. I bought the Gel form. I looked at other deodorants that said they wouldn't leave white lines on clothes but I don't really believe them and hate white deodorant lines.

My long search for the perfect deodorant has ended thanks to my ten year old daughter. I was told one day that her friend had a deodorant that smelled like vanilla coffee and she wanted to try it. So off to the store we went in search of the beverage scented deodorant. Once there we searched the shelves until we found the one she was looking for which just happened to be Secret Platinum Clear Gel Scent Expressions Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant Vanilla Chai. (Long name but so worth it.)

I remember running out of deodorant, so I went to Walgreens to pick some up. There was a sale going on...3 for $10, so I decided to try out the Secret Platinum Clear Gel in Totally Tropical scent which reminded me alot of mango. I had never previously used gel deodorants before...only the white colored roll on ones, so I was a bit skeptical. When I rolled it on, it felt a bit wet, but what do you expect when its gel right? Secret Platinum's clear deoderant is one of the better deoderants for avoiding chalky white underarms while still maintaining the strength of solids.  It's hard to keep fresh in the southern humidity and stifling temperatures, but this deoderant seems to do the trick.  It comes in a variety of tasty scents.  Also, it's a pretty competitive price.  There are a few negatives to the product though.   The container can be a little leaky if not stored upright.  This can cause a bit of a mess and it's never fun to get deoderant on your hands.  Also, sometimes too much comes out when you turn...

I have been using the deodorant brand Secret for over 10 years. I have been using the Platinum vanilla-scented for about a year (give or take). I love the way it smells! It reminds me of great smelling cookies or candles. But, it is by no means overpowering or too perfum-ish. It goes on easily, no mess, and is effective all day. The hardest part is picking the scent that you like best! I usually by a few at the time and like to alternate scents depending on my mood.

I never smell gross or suffer from body odor after using this product. It cuts back on the sweating too!

I LOVE this deodorant.  It smells so great!  I was afraid at first of it clashing with my perfume, but it didn't.  It keeps me dry, and works all day.

I would love to have a body spray in this scent. It keeps me dry too!
