Secret Platinum Clear Gel Scent Expressions Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant Vanilla Chai —

To the Point

I needed a deodorant and I had a $3.00 off coupon at CVS. The Secret Platinum Clear Gel Scent Expressions Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant Vanilla Chai intrigued me in spite of it being well over $3.00. I would pay that for an organic, not tested on animal product but not usually on a deodorant like this.

A Closer View

There are a few varieties of this 2.7- ounce deodorant. I bought the Gel form. I looked at other deodorants that said they wouldn't leave white lines on clothes but I don't really believe them and hate white deodorant lines.

In addition Secret Platinum Clear Gel Scent Expressions is wear proof. What that means exactly to Proctor & Gamble I am not sure but I can tell you my experiences.

My Thoughts

I love this deodorant but it won't get 5 stars because of the animal testing issue. There are several factors I love about it.

  • It turns easily via the base.
  • The vanilla chai smells delicious but in no way does this smell like perfume. It is so subtle.
  • The top has slots from which the gel comes out so I don't put on more than I need. The Secret Platinum Clear Gel Scent Expressions goes on smoothly.
  • I have no idea where I read the following. I think there was a sign at CVS but I read as I perspire the vanilla chai odor would come through. I think that is what wear proof means. Not to get into intimate details but I never did sweat a whole lot. That is until Yoga! I have to be honest and say that I could smell body odor on me which made me very unhappy. With  Secret Platinum Clear Gel Scent Expressions all I smell is a delicious vanilla chai smell.

Jo's Viewpoint

I love this! If you are not anti animal cruelty (or are like I am) and will buy a product by this company I highly recommend it.

Also what is really interesting is that Secret Gel Scent does not contain sodium lauryl sulphate. Maybe there is an ingredient or two worse than that but I do try to stay away form SLS.

I have a problem with my sweat glands and it has to be 100 or hotter for me to even "glisten." I can't sweat. I tried a gel anti-perspirant one time and thought I was sweating. I couldn't handle the wet feeling under my arm and it actually chaffed my skin.

This sounds like something I would like. Does it dry pretty quick and did you see any signs of deodorant lines on garment after wearing? I hate those white chalky lines too ;+/ ~Gigi

Haven't tried this flavor yet, but I know that if I have a lazy day and decide to skip a bath, this stuff lasts for two days. That only goes for the Secret with the slots on top. Vanilla chai, huh? Sounds almost edible.

I have the same one right now but it's like fresh breeze scent or something this sounds like a lot more fun!
