Secret Clinical Strength Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Review Summary

One respected brand in women’s deodorant is Secret and Secret Clinical Strength Anti- Perspirant Deodorant is considered one of the most powerful products in the Secret lineup. Reviewers find many things to love about this deodorant product, starting with the great scent and the ability to control wetness and ending with the ability to remain gentle in spite of its strength. One reviewer has this to say about Secret Clinical Strength: “Finally- a Deodorant that Controls Sweat and Odor”, and another adds: “Why Wasn’t This Around 35 Years Ago?”. Still, there are some who are not impressed, like one person who bluntly states, “Thanks, but No Thanks”. The price is high and it has been known to stain certain clothing according to reviewers, making Secret Clinical Strength a very good Deodorant but one that may be an unnecessary purchase for many women.

I've always been a sweaty girl, but since having issues with my hormones, the problem has only worsened. Love those hot-flashes!

I've tried so many different deodorants over the years and I've got to say that Secret really has made a winner with their "clinical strength" line. It works great, doesn't...

This deodorant didn't work for me. I am a girl but I am a heavy sweater. When I first heard this commercial I thought all my prayers had been answered but after paying almost $10 for this stuff, it made me sweat more than I normally do and even worse, stained some of my clothing. I was very unhappy with... read full review »

I have tried men and women deodorants. I even had a prescription from my physician for my axillary sweating, better known as underarm sweat. I have been trying to live with it for years. I finally felt that it was time to search out some surgical alternatives to control if not eliminate my underarm sweating. I read that Botox can be used to control the hyperhydrosis condition which I developed in my mid 20's. I had decided that the Botox would be the way for me to deal with this problem. I was watching tv one evening and a commercial for Secret Clinical Strength came on. I thought to myself that... read full review »

Secret's Clinical Strength deoderant is a $9 miracle! OK, I'm a sweater - I sweat when I'm nervous and this is a life-saver. I don't know why it took Secret so long to create this formula, but I hope it never goes off the shelf.

It is seriously strong and I don't have to worry when I apply this.

It smells great (powder scent) and feels just like regular deoderant.

It is a little more expensive than most deoderants ($9), but I think it's worth the extra bucks.

Okay, so, for years I've had issues with underarm sweating.  hahaha....  it's embarrassing! And for years I've used (don't laugh) Old Spice 24 Hour something or another...  it goes on clear and I always thought perhaps it was a bit stronger since it's made for a man.  Well, I've eyeballed Secret Clinical Strength for months now asking myself several questions....am I willing to pay the price?  Will it be worth it?  How long will that little container last?  Will it actually work for me?  I finally decided to buy it!  And it actually works!  I am so excited that I've found a product that... read full review »

I'm not impressed with Secret Clinical Strength Anit-Perspirant Deodorant. I was all excited when it first came out hoping it would do what it says it would. I tried it for several months and to me it's no different than the regular Secret Anit-Perspirant Deodorant so why pay twice the price with no difference?

I'm a terrible sweater. I stick to dark colors and jackets anytime I can. I try my hardest to never lift up my arms. This  deodorant was great, butttt... Eventually it stopped working. It smells fantastic {my boyfriend loves it.} I'm not sure what happened but it didn't work after the first few days i used it. I followed the directions {like they're that hard!} by putting it on at night and everything. It also stained a few of my shirts. Other than that.. I'm sure for the average person, it'd be a great deodorant.

For years I've tried new products...one after the other, after the other, etc. It's been an endless circle searching for something that really works, that doesn't burn or itch and that is in my price range. It was such a miracle to come across Secret Clinical Strength for Women. I have loved it since the first application and until Secret comes out with an impoved version...I'll be sticking with it!!

Happily writing,

I don't like to pay a lot for anything, especially when it's just a trial and I don't know if the product works.
I am really impressed how Secret's Clinical Strength Anti-Perspirant Deoderant works for me.  I am a runner, I play volleyball and tennis, basketball, and I play with kids all day long (i'm a nanny of 3).  That means I sweat... a LOT.  I noticed I was even sweating when I wasn't working out or playing a game, which bothered me when I was locked in the car with my boss, or trying to snuggle close to my boyfriend.
I bought this Secret product so that I could try to "control the problem"...

Anything with the word "clinical" in its title should be left for doctors to prescribe.  This is an expensive item that should be compared to generic deodorants that are better used for potato gun fodder.  I tried it and was displeased, I even gave the product a second shot and tried another tube to see if it would take time for my body to adjust to the new deodorant.  Again I actually had reverse effects.  It caused a rash, which caused me to sweat more because I was concerned of possible cancerous causing carcinogens they were using in their "over-night" philosophy of protection against underarm... read full review »

First, let me begin by saying that i've never had a problem with excess perspiration..and that I normally wear Degree For Women. However, one day I decided to try something new..so I picked up a trial size container of Secret Clinical Strength deodorant. After the first use, I actually experienced MORE perspiration than I normally do...which was totally odd and unusual. That day was like any other day..running errands..light exercise, household cleaning, etc. I was amazed because this deodorant is supposed to be "Clinical" strength..but yet..it couldnt and didnt offer the proper protection i needed...

I sweat constantly! When im nervous, scared, happy, active, anything i do, i sweat! No matter if im just sitting with no one around, im sweating! I cant even wear the hot pink colors or grey, or an aqua blue color! It really sucks, and when this product came out, i was jumping up and down and so excitied to use it. I was pretty dissapointed in the results. Ten dollars is a little expensive for something that doesnt work. I felt exactly the same as i did before, which made me wonder if its just me, and maybe the secret wasnt what i needed for results. Oh well, the smell was wonderful! The scent... read full review »

I have been a sufferer of perspirer  for a long long while. To add even more misery, I live in Arizona! Secret Clinical Strenth keeps me dry. It smells delicious. It saves my clothes from discoloration. It doesn't leave my underarms too dry. I am crazy for this product and am so glad that it has come to the market. I tried certain dry and other products claiming great protection, but so far Secret Clinical Strenght is my favorite by far. I like the sport scent but will use any.

I received a sample of this in the mail & gave it to a good friend of mine who actually had to go to a doctor to get a perscribed deoderant. But the one from the doctor burned and stung her under arms so badly that she threw it away. Well she tried this deoderant that I gave her and she loved it. It helped with the sweat, and it didnt burn or sting her under arms. So if you think you may need this item, I would totally go for it!!

I love this Secret Clinical Sterngth for it protection and scent. I like that I can put it on in the morning and not have to worry about it fading away throughout the day. It is supposed to refresh its scent at the slight notice of persperation. The scent is light and not over-powering, fresh.
