Second Chance: Left Behind Reviews

     A friend of mine was reading one of the books, and introduced me to the Left Behind Series, and I was hooked from book one.

     I read all the books up to that point, I believe it was #11 Armageddon, in a matter of  about 30 days, and was on pins and needles till the next book came out, Glorious Appearing, and read it in about 2 days.

  And again could hardly wait till the next books came out.

    I could not get enough of these books, I drank it in as water. I hungered for the knowledge it imparted to me,about the Bible and the End of Days.

This is absolutely the very best biblical fiction i have ever read. The books keep you so interested that every page is an eyeopener. The writing is superb!!

The characters are wonderfully interesting. Each is described so that you feel that you know them personally. They are colorful and have great depths.

The plot keeps you so interested that before you know it you have finished the book and are ready to start the next one in the series.

When the last book came out I was heartbroken. I absolutely love this series. I just may read it again.

I read this series starting weeks before the last book of the series was published, and finished with all of the books just in time to read the last book.

The stories are well paced, the characters are interesting enough that you can become invested in them and will want to follow them though all 12 of the books.

The writing may not be of the highest literary quality, but the pacing, the creative images that the authors are able to bring to life and of course, providing a modern setting on the end of days story is very compelling. In addition their ability to carry a story about numerous characters...

This series of books is the best I have ever read. Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins hit the top of the book writter list with me. I picked up book one and was anxiously waiting every one of the 13 books to come out. Once you start reading these, you can't put it down. The books grab you and keep you interested until you have read so much of the book, it's almost done. I know I sure don't want to be "left behind."

I have been reading this series from the first book on, hooked. I was lead to Christ through the first installment and I have been growing in my walk with the Lord ever since. I love this series. My dad, my mom, my aunt, my cousins, one of my best friends and several co-workers have all read the series as well. The fact that I found it when I was suicidal and it felt like God was calling me to read it kept me alive that weekend. Now, I turn to Christ in my time(s) of need and never will I be in despair like that again. If that doesn't speak to the nature of this series, nothing will!
