I have been using Sebastian Shaper Hairspray for as long as I can remember. This, to me, is the absolute perfect hairspray. If they ever stopped making this, I don't know what I would do. I guess I would have to stock pile enough to last me the rest of my life. I have tried many others, but end up throwing them in the garbage. This is not a cheap hairspray by any means, but it is worth every penny to me. The best price to be had is on Amazon. My hair is should length and curly. When I'm done drying, I flip my head upside down, spray all over, shake, and voila, beautiful hair!. I even use this while my hair is still a little damp and I'm still drying my hair to give it added volume at the roots. You can spray this all over your entire head, let dry a minute, and still run your fingers through your hair. It is not a stiff hairspray. If you want helmet head, this will not be for you. This is a light weight spray, but your hair stays where you want it to. You can use this for days and not wash your hair, and there is still none of that white build up that many hairsprays leave behind after one use. You can even brush or comb through your hair, restyle, and you're good to go again. I would not be able to live without this product.

Well, after Dove discontinued it's flexible hold hairspray with the new and so called "improved" fexible + hold product (is not flexible at all and smells wretched!) product after all these years, I finally found an even better product to replace it. It is more expensive, but worth it! It has a subtle scent and leaves my hair soft and manageable but at the same time provides the hold that I'm looking for. Bye, bye Dove and hello Sebastian! Please don't discontinue this product!

I like Sebastian Hair spray,I used it at the salon never knew you could buy it at a store.It makes my hair so manageable.It doesn't make your hair stiff and hard.Keeps it in place.I'd recommend it to anyone

I bought this on a sale a while back curious to see if it would work better than the cheap Suave stuff I was accustomed to using and it did.  Sebastian has a flexable hold, it's not too stiff and doesn't leave hair feeling sticky and over-styled.  I like the fact that my hair still moves naturally when I use this product.  There is also only a very minimal smell which is something I appreciate and found to be difficult to find among the cheaper brands that often smell like overbearing old lady perfume.  In all of my hair products I strive for something that works hard for me without making me look like I'm trying to hard and this is that kind of a product. I get the hold and control over my hair that I want without the helmet hair, smelly tattles of cheaper hair sprays. This is an aeorosal can which gives me a little of environmental guilt, however, I have not found any non-aerosal hairsprays that can match it in performance.

This is my favorite styling spray.  It is the only one I use.  You can style your hair and restyle later in the day if you need to.  I love the smell of this spray.  i tried the shaper plus, but it was too stiff and it smelled horrible, so I am back to shaper.  If I need all day hold, I would have to use a holding spray, but not for a usual day.  I only use a holdin spray if I have a very long day ahead.  I could not live without this spray.  I've tried several brands before settling on this.  Many were more expensive, some were less expensive.  There was not one that could hold up to Shaper.  It is amazing to think that you can style your hair, brush it out, and still be able to style it again.  There is no buildup of product, so you style like it is the first time you are styling even though it is the second or third.  The only drawback is that it since it is sold in salons, it is expensive.  It is worth every penny.

As with all Sebastian products, the hair spray is very expensive. If you are looking for a quality product and price is not a consideration, this is the hair spray for you. I have very fine, thin hair and it adds volume and lift.  I find that I don't need as much of it so that somewhat evens out the playing field. I do not care for the odor...somewhat medicinal rather than light and fresh. It washes out fairly easily if you use warm water and rinse hair well before applying shampoo.

I love Sebastian products, may be why that is the name I choose for my cat. This Sebastian shaper hair spray brushable styling hairspray with hold and control is heaven sent for me. I have tried many different hairspray with always the same complaint, they leave a white residue! I like that this hairspray holds my hair in the exact spot I want it to be and doesn't leave that icky white residue. I mainly use it on my bangs so that icky stuff is very noticeable there. It also lasts for a long time! I like in FL where it is very humid so I was also excited when my bangs didn't fall and curl after only an hour. The smell is also a great selling factor. The bottle also comes with a lot! So although it is a bit pricier the other drugstore brands, it holds up a lot better too and leave your hair clean, manageable and best yet controllable. I would absolutely recommend this hairspray to anyone with any hair type and I am glad I found it!

I have been using the regular shaper for 10+ years. My mother who never splurges on herself swears by it too. Through the years I have tried dozens upon dozen of hairspary. There is a reason why I keep coming back to Shaper. It is simply the best overall hairspray ever! I know that there are cheaper alternatives. But IMO this is one product that can't be duplicated. I have very fine, naturally curly hair. This hairspary adds volume and shine. It does not weigh my hair down, make it sticky. I have never had a buildup or flakes from it. It does not dry my hair out and has a very plesant smell to it. When I need extra voula, I use it as a root lift. After I have dryed and styled my hair, I spray the roots. Then use a pick or brush to hold it in place and use the hairdryer on low. When the hairspray is nearly dry, I switch my hairdryer to the cool setting to lock it in place. I don't know what I would ever do if they discontinued it. There is nothing that comes close.

Sebastian Shaper Hair Spray Brushable Styling Hairspray with Hold and Control is totally fabulous.I have never really been a big fan of hairspray until I found sebastian Shaper.I hated the way most hairsprays left my hair feeling like it was frozen.This hairspray is totally opposite of the hairsprays that leave your strands hard and feeling frozen.This hairspray will hold your hair in place really well yet your hair will feel as if you dont even have hairspray on.This hairspray will give you a firm yet touchable hold.I also love this hairspray because I dont have to spend alot of time trying to wash out the hairspray build up that is common with most hairsprays.This hairspray will leave you hair build up free you wont even need to shampoo if you choose not to.This hairspray never leaves my hair dull I found the opposite to be true .This hairspray makes my hair look extra shiny when I use it.This hairspray cost a little more but its so worth it.

I love the Sebastian Shaper Hair Spray Brushable Styling Hairspray with Hold and Control!  I don't like hairsprays because they don't hold my hairstyle.  To get that hold, I need to either spray a lot on, to the point where my hair turns crispy, or use a really wet and stick hairspray, which to me is just disgusting.  However, I am glad I tried this Sebastian one out!  It holds everyday hairstyles without the stickyness or mess!  You can find this at a lot of stores, so there's no reason not to get it!  It's also pretty cheap.  It almost costs the same as one from the drugstore brands!  This hairspray does not have an offending odor to it whatsoever, and is easy to press and spray.  You can still work with your hair after applying it to achieve your desired style or to fix a mistake.  It's really ideal for daily use.  I cannot imagine going a day without it! I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a good hairspray!
