Seattle is a very trendy city that is very diverse and rich with historical maritime memorabilia.  It is a nice city but the weather is often unpredictable and it is rainy and cold most of the year.  It makes it difficult if you suffer from Seasonal Depression or if you simply do not like the rain. ... review »

Ask any Seattle native; you won't find anywhere more beautiful than the Puget Sound region. Between the snow capped mountains and the crystal blue sound you have a plethora of things to do and see. Although the winter weather can get a little wet, the rest of the year has become increasingly more moderate over the years. There is hiking, biking, snow and water skiing, water tours, underground tours, events and festivals year round. From Mt. Rainier to the Olympic Peninsula, the desert in Eastern WA to the rain-forest, there is so much to do it would take your whole life to enjoy it all. How about... review »

Seattle offers a lot of activities for families!  Of course you have to begin with Pike Place Market.  Eat breakfast at Lowell's for delicious food and a great view of the water!  Check out the original Starbuck's for a hot cup of coffee.  Seattle's Best had a great Caramel Latte too!  The kids will love the ride up to the top of the Space Needle where luckily you may be able to see Mt Rainier.  The monorail is also fun, and drops you off right at the mall.

There's lots of action and shops along the waterfront.  The Curiousity Shop is a place to definitely visit.  The ferry to Bainbridge...

Seattle is a wonderful destination for anyone that appreciates a good view. It really is a beautiful city. Everywhere I went I could not find a bad landscape. From the fresh appeal of the snow-capped mountains to the deep blue of the sound, and If you get the chance to dine at the Needle at dusk the city's skylight at night is breathtaking. It was really very romantic. I have been to Seattle several times and I would really suggest going in the late spring because the gardens are beautiful. Somewhere near by there is a tulip festival that is amazing. I'm not exactly sure where but any local would... review »

Seattle is great. I am moving from Southern California to Olympia, Washington due to a change in my spouses job and i am thrilled. I would love to eventually move to Seattle due to all of the great things you can do there. The Science Center for kids is great and has an IMAX theatre ... the space needle is great unless you are scared of heights, the EMP is a wonderful place for music lovers and aspiring musicians ... the woodland park zoo is beautiful and the fresh fish, food market is wonderful. I could go on and on about Seattle. It has it all and reminds me of San Fran out here in Cali.

The underground tour is not to be missed!  You will learn so much about Seattle while totally being entertained by the guide.  Younger kids won't get all the humor but they would still enjoy the tour.

The Space Needle offers a Sunday brunch that is out of this world.  The price is a bit high but you won't eat the rest of the day.

My honey and I visited Seattle during Spring break in March. Sure, it was cold, but we had a great time. It snowed on us twice, which was so breathtaking and amazing to witness! I loved Seattle and anyone wanting to see something amazing, should not only visit Seattle, but go to the Space Needle and see the city at 360 degrees.

Seattle is one of the most beatiful cities in the summer time.  With all the water around it and green mountains.  There is just an endless amount of things to do.
