Seattle is a very trendy city that is very diverse and rich with historical maritime memorabilia. It is a nice city but the weather is often unpredictable and it is rainy and cold most of the year. It makes it difficult if you suffer from Seasonal Depression or if you simply do not like the rain. If you enjoy wearing rain gear, Seattle has a lot to offer, so stop at one of the million Starbucks a get a hot cup of coffee and roam around the Puget Sound area. There is a lot to see and a lot to do, if you go during the summertime where it's warmer and less rain! Taking one of the ferries is a must-so plan this into your schedule as it's very inexpensive for passengers and a vehicle.
