In early ApriI placed two online orders with Sears. The first one was successful, but the second one was a disaster and has caused me to vow NEVER to use the onling shopping site again! I ordered two casual tops, a pair of crop pants and a shirt/skirt outfit. I received the two tops! Instead of the crop pants, I got a pair of jeans. Only the shirt came from the 2-piece outfit.
At first I just called and explained the problems. I was told they would send UPS to pick up the incorrect order (the jeans instead of the crop pants), the skirt was being shipped and the crop pants would be shipped. I waited several weeks. I received my Sears Mastercard bill and saw that instead of crediting the account for the jeans, they had credited my account for one of the shirts!! I called again. I explained the situation. I was told that I could no longer get the skirt part of the 2-piece outfit and that they had put a tracer on the other missing items. Again I waited weeks. When nothing happened, I called a third time! After yet another explanation, I was advised to return the shirt part of the 2-piece outfit to a local store. I asked to just cancel the crop pants order as obviously they weren't going to send them. The person I spoke with was very nice and very helpful. She assured me she was canceling the crop pants order. TWO DAYS LATER I received an email stating that they would not cancel the crop pants order because they had been shipped! Today, another week later, I still don't have my crop pants! It is now nearly two months trying to handle this issue! BUYER BEWARE WHEN SHOPPING ONLINE WITH SEARS!
