Sears - MasterCard Review

I must commend the customer service team for helping me make sense of a highly unusual promotional problem.  I had receieved a letter in the mail congratulating me on the receipt of my new Sears MasterCard, and inviting me to join their Sears Choice Rewards program.  I was also offered 500 points if I were to use the card within the next two days (by 10/31/09)..plus an extra 1000 points for using the card only twice more before December 31.  To make a long story short, the customer service team informed me that my new Sears MasterCard was on its way, and that it would replace my old Sears/K-Mart card.  I was then told that if I went to either Sears or K-Mart within the next two days and made any purchase charged to my old Sears/K-Mart card, that it would qualify toward my receiving the promised 500 points.  Finally, I was encouraged to call back and let the Sears Choice Rewrds folks know when my new MasterCard arrived, so that they could make sure that the points would be properly credited to me.  When it did arrive, I followed their recommended course of action, and all worked out as promised.  I offer a sincere vote of confidence and debt of gratitude to these folks.  And with rewards starting at just 2500 points,(and with any purchases at Sears or K-Mart earnin double points), it should not be too long before I am able to start benefiting from the program.  I recommend this card to any who are considering applying.
