Sears Blue Appliance Crew was a good move for a company that wants to highlight their appliances. Sears is known for historically selling more appliances than anyone else. Also, having the associates in the appliance department wear blue helps customers spot the person they need for assistance. Customers looking for an appliance associate can pick them out against the other associates in black and khaki.
After seeing MANY great ads about the "Sears Blue Appliance Crew" on TV, I thought the theme would run through the store. Well after visiting three stores in two different markets I couldn't find ONE sales assoicate wearing BLUE and not ONE "SEARS BLUE APPLIANCE CREW" sign. Why wasit the money if your'e not going to follow through???
I dont understand what Sears is getting at with the Blue Appliance Crew. The silhouette of the girl in the front bothers me for some reason. She's too... uhh... informal. All the silhouettes kinda strike me like they want to be my friend... not fix my shit. I understand theyre trying to imply personalized service but they just don't strike me as very knowledgeable.
