I have had this bed for years and still love it.

I am a middle aged woman who is single and works many hours on the night shift as a nurse. When I get home from work I need to sleep on demand and also when it is noisy outside. I have spent a lot of money on different types of mattresses, to include a waterbed, a waterbed with baffles, a Sealy Posturpedic, and air beds. None of them seem to fit the bill and I always have felt the division between the two chambers in the queen size beds. I bought this mattress literally out of desperation....I had tried water beds, air mattresses, conventional spring mattress and box sets, I even tried sleeping on the floor!!! Nothing was helping my bad back and sleepless nights until a friend bought one of these mattresses and raved on and on about how great it was. Incredible! I have finally found a way to wake up refreshed and not feeling tired. I Love it!! I have for many years woke in the morning feeling very tired and my energy level was down. I had aches and pains everywhere. The mattress that I had was under 3 years old and was not very cheap when purchased new. My shoulders, neck and lower back always felt very stiff and ached. I bought this queen mattress set 3 years ago and so far it has stood up to 2 adults and 3kids (on and off). It is decieving as it feels soft when you push your hand on it but when you first lay on it it is pretty hard as well as COLD. However, it soon becomes softer, conforms to your body and warms to a nice temperature. That is what it is made to do. It has stood firm for us. We purchased this mattress because of all the talk on how great it is for your back. Well not my back! Let me warn you that if you have back pain in your middle back, on the outer curve of your back, do not buy this kind of mattress. It puts too much pressure on that part of your back and it becomes very uncomfortable. This foam mattress is way to firm. I've been thinking of buying a memory foam mattress pad for about six months. I finally got one for Christmas, and I'm so glad I did. This one is a Sealy visco-memory foam 2inch thick. It was interesting to watch it "grow" when we took it out of the package. The first night we slept on it was such an amazing difference. No matter which way you lay it is comfortable. We bought a 2" mattress topper for our home and missed it so much when we went to stay in our timeshare that we bought a 1.5" one to take with us when we are away from home. It rolls up tightly and we tape it into a roll with masking tape and then slide it into a plastic garbage bag and then into it's own soft 'suitcase' with a shoulder strap. This mattress is truly a well made product that I can vouch for. When i climb into my bed everynight on THIS mattress i dont even have to worry about "trying to fall asleep," or about tossinga and turning. I am truly disappointed with this mattress. We spent $2000 on it, and have not slept well for even one night since we bought it. We both wake up with lots of pain in our back and neck every morning.
