After a few years with our Select Comfort bed, my husband and i decided to buy something different.  We had both been waking with back discomfort & had difficulty finding a new "sleep number" that worked for either of us, so we decided to try a traditional mattress again.  We went to a mattress discount store & after checking many beds out, decided on a Sealy Posturepedic comfort firm mattress and box spring set.  The Sealy was originally great feeling, but after a day or two, it felt uncomfortable, so we tried using a fluffy pillow top with it.  We lasted a night with that and felt like we were in a cocoon-too squashed up!  We were seriously debating returning this Sealy bed, and finally got smart & read the paperwork that came with that particular bed set.  It stated that it takes a week or so to adjust and that body contours in the bed were normal at first (which we thought was a problem).  We gave it another week & WOW are we glad we did!  Both of us are sleeping more soundly and it actually feels like we have more room in the bed now than before-very odd!  It's a great mattress, just takes a bit of time to adjust, so stick it out if you get one, you may just love it in the end like we did!
