General:This item is a very solid  drive if you use it windows xp and I will say it spin very quite and your data is very easily accessible..

The only thing that need to be added on this hard drive is more cache.The cache that it comes with it is only 8mb .I think 16 or 32 will be a good thing.The rpm is also ok better that very old hard drives.

You cannot go wrong with this drive.I am saying this because the life cycle of this bad boy is very good.So do not be scared you  can save money on energy and save yourself headache.

I build computers for my friends and family,it is a hobby for me.It is really easy to install this and get it to rspond.

Over all this drive is reliable and can give you good performance as I have been using lot of seagate drive.Seagate is a pretty reliable company I will recommend this to all techs that are out there helping out there customers to replace or upgrade a medium pc.
