Sea Captain's House Restaurant is my favorite restaurant in a city full of restaurants. They offer upscale dining at a very affordable price - no wonder it is voted a local's favorite year after year in the Sun News. The dining room offers stunning views of the Atlantic - another rarity in Myrtle Beach. Baskets of fresh, delicious hush puppies are brought to your table while you look over the menu. The menu offers something for everyone but I highly recommend the crab cakes. AWESOME. Big chunks of lump crab meat lightly breaded.

read full review »My husband and I consider Myrtle Beach our favorite vacation destination. We found The Sea Captains House our first year there and have gone back every time we return to MB. The food is beyond amazing. Everything is prepared from scratch as you order. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff is extremely accomodating and attentive. Our last time there we actually walked the beach from our hotel up to SCH and ate on the enclosed porch overlooking the ocean.
