Sea Captain's House Restaurant is my favorite restaurant in a city full of restaurants.  They offer upscale dining at a very affordable price - no wonder it is voted a local's favorite year after year in the Sun News.  The dining room offers stunning views of the Atlantic - another rarity in Myrtle Beach.  Baskets of fresh, delicious hush puppies are brought to your table while you look over the menu.  The menu offers something for everyone but I highly recommend the crab cakes.  AWESOME.  Big chunks of lump crab meat lightly breaded.

If you come in the winter, you can enjoy hot cider by...

this is one of those places in myrtle beach that i recommend to anyone looking for great seafood.  all those huge seafood buffet restaurants just don't cut it.  when eating out ANYWHERE, you should always look for what the locals are eating, and your tiny little hole-in-the-wall places are usually your best bet.  such is the case here.  this quaint little restaurant used to actually be a beach house (right on the ocean).  the prices are reasonable (for a young married couple who don't always have a lot of money to spend, if you get what i'm saying).  the food is delicious (try the crab cakes,...

My husband and I consider Myrtle Beach our favorite vacation destination.  We found The Sea Captains House our first year there and have gone back every time we return to MB.  The food is beyond amazing.  Everything is prepared from scratch as you order.  The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff is extremely accomodating and attentive.  Our last time there we actually walked the beach from our hotel up to SCH and ate on the enclosed porch overlooking the ocean.  Word of caution - if you arrive at main meal times and don't have a reservation, the line will be long, but it's well worth...

This restaurant is set on the waterfront of a thriving beach community with a myriad of dining options. I ate the Crab Cakes Benedict accompanied by whole grain toast, hollandaise, and home fries with onion, and delightfully prepared poached eggs. Marvelous. The menu is broad enough to please any taste, and there's a sumptuous buffet for the "more is better" diners. Best breakfast ever, in the US, any several foreign countries. Sipping coffee and waiting to watch the sun rise is a perfect way to await this culinary wonder. Make it a MUST when you visit the SC Grand Strand.

Sea Captain's House is one of the best dinning places I have been to since moving to Myrtle Beach last May.  Not only is the service fast and friendly but the view you have while eating is amazing.  If you like breakfast, they have a great buffet.  You can't lose!
