Scrubs —

I started watching NBC's Scrubs in it's third season, the episode with Brendan Frasier as the guest star, I believe, and I've been hooked ever since. With reruns on Comedy Central, I was abe to catch up and I can't get enough of the show. Anytime I need to bring myself out of a funk, I rent one of the seasons on DVD. I've seen most of the episodes more than twice and I still love to watch Scrubs episodes over and over again.

Synopsis of Scrubs (provided by http://www.tv.com/scrubs/show/3613/summary.html, visit the site to see more information):

"This half-hour comedy focuses on the bizarre experiences of fresh-faced medical intern John "J.D." Dorian (Zach Braff, "Garden State") as he embarks on his healing career in a surreal hospital crammed full of unpredictable staffers and patients - where humor and tragedy can merge paths at any time.

Joining the rumpled J.D. in his exhilarating brave new world are his college buddy, Chris Turk (Donald Faison, "Clueless"), an intern with a more elite surgical group, and J.D.'s fellow medical intern, the beautiful and driven Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke, "Roseanne"). Keeping the new interns on their toes are: The fatherly chief of medicine, Dr. Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins); the abrasive, worldly Dr. Perry Cox (John McGinley), and the caring but slightly jaded nurse Carla Espinosa (Judy Reyes). The hospital janitor (Neil Flynn, "Mean Girls") also never seems to miss an opportunity to harass his target."

Zack Braff is a riot in this role as an intern/resident, who mixes the maturity of his medical career with the immaturity that is in his every day life for a fun and zaney look at the personal revilations in hospital situations. The show mostly follows JD's inner dialogue, but often switches to the awesome ensemble cast. These fabulous actors work SO WELL together and you can tell by the quality of the show that they've had a lot of fun acting together. The Janitor tags J.D. when he assumes that the new intern pulled a prank on him in the pilot episode. This show uses a beautiful collaboration of comedy to reveal an incredibly "life lesson" in every episode. Scrubs' wacky and meaningful scripts are so obsurdly funny that my gut pains me with laughter!

I'm so sad that Scrubs is over, but I can not wait for the collection of the entire series on DVD! Check out your local listings for viewing stations and times.

Yes, wonderful eye candy. I have never been married and am still saving myself for "Mr. Right" but sometimes when I see a hunk I will say, "He's the type of guy that I could sin with tonight and repent in the morning." Of course I am just picking and most of the time it is a celebrity that I will never have an encounter with but umm, umm--Branden Fraser, James Brolin, Richard Gere, and Aidan Quinn--all easy on the eyes!

Ditto! I enjoy most of the films he is in. He fit in with the cast of Scrubs too; he was a guest star a couple of times and brought in his real life love of cameras as a part of his character on the show! He is a nice piece of eye candy! ;o)

I watched it a few times but couldn't stick with it. There was never a tv show that I just had to see until Reba debuted. Once I saw her show I was hooked. I also loved watching The Nanny in syndication and 7th Heaven until the final season and then it sort of lost its appeal for me. I do however still like watching the earlier episodes. And by the way, I love Brendan Frasier--he was fine in George of the Jungle ;+)
