I took vacation a couple of weeks ago to move into our new place and I started to stay up later than I used to.  Well, on late night television you do not get a lot of variety, and I started to get hooked on Scrubs.  It was such a funny show, and I never used to get into the hospital dramas and comedies.  This one finally hooked me.   So I ended up after vacation buying the first season on DVD because I could not stay up late anymore.

The story starts like this.  J.D., who is played by Zach Braff, and his friends are fresh out of med school and beginning their lives as interns...

Following Dr. John D. Dorian first year as a resident, we really get his perspective by listening to the voice-over narration. This resource, old as it is, is proven really enjoyable, since we do not only hear JD's ideas and feelings, but also access to his highly imaginary portrayal of the world. A great character, and quite a good actor, whose mastership of body work is noticeable.

Along with him, we see an oustanding set of characters: Turk, JD best friend and easy-going surgery resident, who sometimes seems to have it all easier than JD but complements him perfectly; his girlfriend Carla, the...

Scrubs is one of my most favorite television shows of the last 10 years. i started watching it on a regular basis about a year ago and now im utterly addicted to it. i never have seen a show quite like it. its got great comedy and yet also has alot of heart and characters that you definitely grow to love or love to hate, for that matter:) The Scrubs Season 1 dvd is an excellent place to start with the series. it shows you how it all began and nothing about it is boring or slow. i think it takes u deep inside its allure from the very begining and never lets up. Zach Braff is the heart of the show...

Great show, great cast, great music. The show is structured around multiple storylines thematically linked. The DVD has a lot of bonus features: Newbies - a documentary that examines the actors before they were cast, Deleted Scenes, Outtakes, The Doctor Is In - one on one with Zach Braff, Alternate Lines: A Second Opinion - shows the cast's unique ability to improvise, Not Just Another Medical Show - a look at how the show is filmed, from using a single camera setup to actually shooting in a closed down hospital, Favorite Moments - cast and crew reflections on their favorite episodes, Audio Commentaries...

Scrubs is one of my most favorite shows. Absolutely hilerious, and I love watching the differant treatments the doctors must do on their patients and what kind of patients they get. My favorite is the head doctor, he is such an a hole but so funny and smart. Scrubs is also packed full of drama and excitement. It is mostly about the relationships yet they keep it about the patients just as much as about the relationships. Also there is always new charecters every once in awhile to keep it new and interesting.

I love this show! All the characters are unique and the actors who play them are really talented. It's about medical interns and their adventures at Sacred Heart Hospital.  There's JD (the main characer played by Zach Braff) and the show is seen through his eyes and his daydreams. There's Turk (surgical intern and JD's BFF from college) and Elliott (another intern), and Carla (the nurse they all seem to rely on). I highly recommend you watch "Scrubs" if you want a good laugh!

The first season of the hit show Scrubs is as funny as I remember it when it premiered. I can watch the show over and over again and I still remain as enlightened as the first time I watched it. The special features are also a hit with bloopers, cast bios, and deleted scenes.

I own every season of Scrubs. It is so funny. I love to watch them in order or seprate, either way they crack me up everytime. I use one liners all the time and so do my friends. I think that it is a great 1/2 hour show that jams alot of story into such a short show.

Scrubs is very funny. You can enjoy comedy in every single episode. Every character fits their role perfectly. Better than ER.

So Scrubs, ah this series is hysterical and i get many laughs from it! I love watching epsiodes i have never seen or haven't seen in a long time.

the humor never gets old. dr.cox calling JD girl names, Janitor doing mean things to JD, JD's day dreams, Dr.cox and Jordans amazingly mean and funny relationship, Turk and JD's bromance, Carla and her craziness, and Elliot and her actual craziness and refering to the vagina as the begingo... man i wish the show were still on!

the relationships between the characters are amazing and captivating-ly funny!

the only thing that drives me nuts about this...

Season 1 is absolutely hilarious.  Have watched Scrubs on TV since the beginning and bought Season 1 and 2 because those were probably the best seasons.  Have watched them through at least 10 times . Every person I show them to is immediately hooked.  It shows the personal sides of doctors in a comedic way and not all "doctor dreaming" romance or action packed.  Recommend to everyone.
