Scrubs Season 1 Review

    I took vacation a couple of weeks ago to move into our new place and I started to stay up later than I used to.  Well, on late night television you do not get a lot of variety, and I started to get hooked on Scrubs.  It was such a funny show, and I never used to get into the hospital dramas and comedies.  This one finally hooked me.   So I ended up after vacation buying the first season on DVD because I could not stay up late anymore.

     The story starts like this.  J.D., who is played by Zach Braff, and his friends are fresh out of med school and beginning their lives as interns at Sacred Heart Hospital.  They are having a hard time getting down to real life when the procedures they perform actually have to happen on real people.  They are having a hard time fitting in.

     I think that season 1 is a must have to your collection if you are a fan of Scrubs because it shows where they are coming from in life.  It starts from the beginning, and if you miss the first season, you miss the whole basis of the show.  Season one contains the whole year as they were interns, and it is really funny. 

    This box set contains 3 disks and 558 minutes of laughter.  Also included in this set are a few bonus features.  It has a few outtakes which are quite hilarious, as well as a few deleted scenes.  It is a set that you will watch over and over again.  The only downfall to the Scrubs seasons on DVD is that they can kind of be expensive if you plan to collect them all.  My recommendation is to watch for sales, or buy them on websites like Amazon.com that will frequently offer them at discount prices. 

I give Scrubs, the complete first season, three thumbs up, if it was possible.  This show is highly addicting, and it is a nice way to relax and have some laughs.  It always puts a smile on my face.  I know I am hooked!
