Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel —

Scrubbing Bubbles is my preferred brand of bathroom cleaners. I use everything they have and love them all: Aerosol Bathroom Cleaners, the new Action Scrubber, Flushable Bathroom Wipes, the Automatic Shower Cleaner, and the new Mega Shower Foamer. The Toilet Cleaning Gel is the first product of theirs that I have been underwhelmed by.

It is convenient, but I think a toilet bowl drop-in is just as convenient. The smell is a little too much for me...a little too 'public bathroom' smelling. I have tried both scents. It looks a little funny on the side of the toilet bowl, I wonder what house guests would think? LOL!

We have two bathrooms and use the gel in both. In the master bathroom, which is used more often, I have noticed that a red/brownish build-up has occurred on the water line in the bowl since I started using the Toilet Cleaning Gel. It's easily cleaned away with regular toilet bowl cleaner, but isn't this product supposed to prevent things like that, not cause them?
