I am constantly on the go, and cleaning is not something that I enjoy at all. I think that cleaning the bathroom, and especially the toilet, is one of my least favorite tasks. Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Flushable Toilet Cleaning System makes it quick, easy, and bearable.

I have two small children who get into all sorts of things, and for some reason, the nasty toilet brush and holder seems to have an odd magnetic power. When they started marketing disposable toilet wands, I was more than happy to try them out! About a year ago, I got a Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Max cleaning kit for free after rebate. I'll try anything for free and I have to admit that after I tried it out, I was hooked.

When you open your starter kit, the wand is in two pieces and you have to snap it together. Assembly is very easy and the wand is fairly durable. It also includes a hook that you can place on your toilet so that you can hang the wand there when you are not using it. The starter kit includes 5 disposable scrubbing pads. The wand has a little button that you push so that you can pick up the scrubbing pad, and then it snaps into place.

You use the wand and scrubber to clean your toilet as you would with a regular toilet brush and when you are done, you just press the button on the wand and the scrubbing pad falls off. Since I do have small children, I don't really like to handle cleaning products very much and this makes it easy not to!

The Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Max scrubbing pads have a blue layer on the front of the sponge that includes a special formula meant to target stains such as limescale, hard water, and rust. The design of the brush makes it easy for you to get to the area right under the rim of the toilet bowl which is hard to access with a regular toilet brush. The abrasive fibers on the blue layer really work in breaking down the stains on your toilet, but you have to learn how to scrub so that you clean your toilet evenly before the blue layer is gone because once the blue layer rubs off, you are just left with a regular sponge. The first time I cleaned my toilet with the Fresh Brush Max, I worked really hard scrubbing one area of my toilet, and by the time I was done, there was no cleaning solution left to clean the rest. It gets pricey if you have to use more than one scrubbing pad in one cleaning!

The Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush Max retails for about $5.49 and the replacement sponges are typically about $3.99. I can typically find coupons to use on the refills.
