Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner —

I got the Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner last January (2007). It worked OK, but I was not very impressed as far as the cleaning, but it did save me a lot of work - we have very hard water, and I do not think anything will keep the silly thing completely clean. Anyway, after several months of daily use and several battery changes, it died. Would not turn on, etc. I called the 800 number - no problem. They were sympathetic, and sent me a coupon for a new, free unit. Great. Several months later, the same thing happened - fresh batteries, machine no workie. Called them again, explained the situation. CSR had me go up to the bathroom, take the unit down, make sure the battery compartment wat dry, and had me put a dab of vaseline on the ends of each battery. Voila, it worked again!. Did this for the next several battery changes, when, again, it died. Called - again - and explained the situation. They again sent me a coupon for a free unit. Hope this one lasts. It is the newer dual spray one, and seems to be cleaning better than the other model. The customer service reps were great, did not make me feel like I was trying to get something for nothing. I just wanted to let them know what happened, and to find out what I was doing wrong. It is really nice to deal with a company that stands behind their products.
