Scrabble Classic Edition Review

I've been playing Scrabble since I was a kid, and I enjoy it now as much today as I did then.  There's really no telling how many different times I've repurchased this game.  Everytime I run down one board, I just replace it with another.

The object of the game is to spell words, using lettered tiles.  Each player receives seven of the tiles at a time, and you take turns building words off of each other.  You can receive more points by hitting the "Double Word Score" or "Triple Word Score" spaces at various points on the gameboard.  The person with the highest score at the end, after all the tiles have been used, wins.

It's a great game to play with kids over ten.  It's a very useful way for them to build their spelling knowledge, and expand their vocabulary.  It's fun, challenging, educational, and an easy way to spend time with your kids (or others!)  The game is always a little different, and that makes it special.
