I use this product for everything that has to do with gardening or house plants. It is an amazing product and it doesn't lie when it says you will see the difference between regular potting soil and Miracle Grow. I use it to start seedlings and by the time they are ready to repot or be panted outdoors in the spring, they are healthy and thriving. Much better than with just any old cheap potting soil. I even sprinkle Miracle Grow around my yard in the fall, my grass is healthy and green. Living in Florida we don't get harsh "northern" winters or much rain during the winter through spring so the...

I was completely blown away by this product. Miracle grow potting mix really does make a diference. I was working for an elderly lady who loved to work in the gardens but wasn't able to get around without some help. So i was that help. I thought she was waisting her money on this "Special dirt". Boy was i wrong. We used it on everything we planted in her garden. It grew wonderfully. My garden which was very much like hers with a lot of the same plants, didn't do well at all. I guess i had to see it for myself to believe it. i'll never go back to using "plain dirt" in my gardens again.

Some garden soils dry out and start resembling styrofoam or cinderblocks.  Some are full of large chunks of who knows what. Some of them will irritate your skin on your hands so badly that gloves are necessary to even add a bit of soil to a pot (how about those vegetables, did you notice they glowed in the dark?)  Miracle Gro potting soil, garden soil, etc. is ALWAYS a quality product.  It might cost a little bit more, but its well worth the extra $.  Its largely a waste of money to buy most other brands as they will kill a plant faster than tossing it off the balcony!

This Miracle Grow Potting soil is the best I can find.  To save money I have bought the lower price soil many times.  my plants were small and didn't have the life to them.  This year I bought Miracle grow and all the plants in the not so good soil look like they need something else.  The Miracle grow plants look great and are darker green and have much more life to them.

I have been a avid, albeit amateur, gardener for quite some time now. I have found only few things that I would consider to be a "sure bet". One is that some type of critter will attempt to make dinner out of your hard work. Another is that Miracle Grow potting soil will make your plants stand up and sing!..Ok, not literally, but still its great stuff! I have used Miracle Grow soil for years now & I can always tell the difference right out of the bag. With the cheaper soil, I always get big clumps of dirt, little twigs or bits of other yard waste. With Miracle Grow, I get beautiful, rich soil that...

I love doing my gardening every year and I always buy Miracle Grow Potting Soil. This year I came across a really good deal on 55 cubic ft. bag of soil and bought 5 bags of it! 95% of my plants are planted in Miracle grow and the other 5% are in something else and you can really tell the difference. I love to grow clemantis and I have about 20 of them and 2 of them I planted a few years back in another brand of potting soil. The ones I planted in the Miracle grow are 3 times as big as the other two are. The first two in the unknown soil are a lot older and they look like I planted them two years...

My children aged 7 and 9 decided to grow cherry tomatos last year, my son was given a little bit of miracle grow, he used his for his plants, my daughter didn't have any.My sons tomatoes grew better, his plant produced at least 3 times more tomatoes than did my daughters as well as I noticed his had more flavor to them.Of course being a mother I couldn't tell my daughter that her brothers tasted better, but she realized his grew better and produced more tomatoes, so I went to Lowes and bought some miracle grow and started adding it to her plants as well, she noticed hers were growing as well as...

I love Spring soooo much. I prabably buy too many seeds and little plants. But I actually tested a no name brand and then the Miracle Gro brand potting soil and there was no comparison. The plants in Miracle grow potting soil grew 3 times fuller and healthier than the others. When I get "spring time planting fever", I probably plant too many plants but I can't help it! I love it and use it every spring for repotting mature plants and for new seedlings for both flowers and vegetables. Beautiful plants! Huge flowers! Huge vegetables! When the plants get to looking alittle yellow and slow down on... review »

I have used many different brands of potting soil and by far Miracle Gro has the best.  When you consider the time you have with some other brands and the added fertilizer, this stuff is not more expensive at all ~ especially if you purchase a big bag of it at a store like Sam's Club.  If you have a tendency to kill plants, then you definitely want to pot or re-pot your plants in Miracle Gro Potting Soil.  It has made a big difference in my plants and I am sure it will for yours as well.  Just remember, you still have to water them!!!

What's not to like?  Good quality potting soil with Miracle Grow Plant Food already in it!  I use this for all my potted plants.  I tried another brand (I know, that sounds like a commercial, but it's true!), and I just wasn't impressed.  With the other brand, my plants all died.  I've almost never had any plants die with Miracle Grow Soil. (maybe that one that I forgot to water doesn't really count???)

Anyway, I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants bigger, better, healthier plants!

Usually I just buy the cheapest potting soil that is there; Which is usually the Wal-mart stuff. And it usually does pretty good.  This year I tried the Miracle Grow potting soil.  It just felt so much better on my hands.   And it was almost light and fluffy.  I was almost sorry I was done planting.

My plants have grown huge this year.  Unfortunately the tomatoes have not produced very much; but I think it would help it I would water them regularily.  :>0

People laugh at me because I spend on average, about $200 in dirt on a yearly basis. But I can't help at laugh back because these poor people don't know the true miracles that take place after using Miracle Gro in my garden! My lilies grow about 7-8feet tall and my roses bloom their heads off. Everything in my garden is always lush and green and I even use it in my pots and hanging baskets. Do not buy cheap dirt! Pay for quality and get spectacular results.
