Comments about Scott Barnes Cream Concealer - Light:

***Quick View:*** This is my "carry in my purse for touch ups" concealer. It's good for that purpose for me.***About ******Scott Barnes: Cream Concealer Light***I never heard of Scott Barnes until last year. I was shopping at Victoria's Secret online when I saw a whole line of Scott Barnes beauty products. Never one not to try new names, I indulged in a few products. (I charged them on my Angels credit card so it wasn't like I spent any MONEY or anything. Heh.). The concealer is one that I like for touch ups. This concealer comes in a small  (about 2 inch square) square brown and silver metal container. The top flips up to reveal a square mirror and a square of creamy concealer. the light is REALLY light with a lot of yellow undertones. It's very soft and creamy and easy to dot on and conceal under eye circles (my problem) as well as flaws, acne, whatever. It blends nicely and is not cakey or thick. It is good but it's not enough coverage for me. I need the tough stuff. It does brighten my eye area and look good but only for a short time. Then my circles come shining through. This is why this concealer is my to go one. I can touch up in the car or restroom and I look fresh without looking like I just put concealer on. With a base of heavier stuff, this does a great job lightening my eye area up and making me look alive again. But alone...not so good for me. Too sheer and too lightweight. It would be great for those of you with mild flaws and circles who want a light, high quality concealer that lasts and lasts (as far as quantity of product goes. Mine is a year old and barely dented.), though.***My Viewpoint***Scott Barnes is a name I am just getting to know and, although I actually quite like this concealer, it isn't heavy enough for my needs. But I still use it a lot on the go because it doesn't cake and doesn't look fake at all. It blends with my skin and brightens up my eye area. Alone, it can't get the job done and it fades quickly but it's a good layering concealer for me. For you, it may be perfect. But I have to rate based on my own experience. I like this and use it but can only give it ***3 stars ***based on its overall performance. It works as a back up but not as a primary concealer. I do recommend it though.
