If you are looking for a good balance between quality and value in toilet paper, look no further than Scott's.   I've been buying this brand for quite some time and find that it is not only sold at a fair price, but gets the job done too.

Scott Toilet Paper has 1,000 sheets - so each roll lasts quite a while. It is only 1-ply though, and not quite as soft as those cottony brands. However, I think it's soft enough and is a lot better than you'll find in most of the world. Scott's is promoted as being:

  • sufficiently absorbent
  • having strength
  • economical
  • softness

Scott Toilet Paper is manufactured by Kimberly Clarke, which makes a wide range of personal care and hygiene products too, such as: Kleenex tissues, Huggies diapers, Depends undergarments, and surgical gloves. I think the company makes good quality products across the board.

Scott's is one  brand (the only one?) of toilet paper that can be bought in single rolls. They also sell in a variety of multipacks, even up to 20 rolls! The price is usually about $1.25/roll.  Since I don't have much storage room I prefer to buy just one or two single rolls at a time. However, the mulitpacks offer more cost savings. Anyway, next time you need toilet paper, reach for Scott's!

It isn't soft at all. I have it right now in my holder but it is 1 ply so it's good for septic systems:)

One ply for us is good though I just thought that our friends who will be coming soon will hate it but our septic tank loves it.

I don't care for this brand for some reason. To me it just isn't soft. To each his own--huh? lol Butt...you did a great job on this review :)
