I'm not a big fan of scrubbing out my tubs and shower walls. But now that I'm moving out of my apartment the bathrooms have to be sparkling clean if I want that damage deposit back. Enter Scotch Brite Shower and Bath Scrubber to help get the job done.
This scrubber is mounted on an aluminum pole that can extend out up to 2 feet in length. There's a ring in the middle of the pole to tighten it at the length you want. The scouring pad on the end is roughly triangular shaped and 6'' long at its longest point. The scrubber on the end will pivot side to side as you scrub the corners and crevices.
In my experience the Scotch Brite Shower and Bath Scrubber really helps in cleaning out tubs and showers without bending down over the side of the tub or having to stand inside the shower stall. I can reach everywhere without too much trouble. The pivoting scrubber head is also a good idea and clean withour scratching.
The plastic handle you hold on the end is not terribly comfortable though (it's a hard plastic) and the scrubber may not reach every single tight spot. But overall it's a big help in cleaning the bathroom. The telescoping pole also held in place once it was tightened.
I recommend the Scotch Brite Shower and Bath Scrubber since it can help speed-up a cleaning task that needs to get done but you may not want to do. Also, the scrubber head can be replaced when it wears out. Although this will set you back $8 or so I think it's worth the cost.
