Scion xB Sport - 2006 Reviews

This car is great in every respect.  Stylish, in a weird, high-top sneaker kind of a way.  Great on mileage.  Fabulous turning circle.  Great pick-up and crusing speed (surprisingly so for a 4-cylinder).  Yet not so flashy that someone will feel the need to pull you over if they catch you crusing a little fast!

It's also HUMUNGOUS on the inside, with room enough for even very tall people (and is great for hauling around my two Great Pyrenees), and yet TINY on the outside.  Fits in spaces that no one else (except for those Cooper Mini drivers and the Scion Xa's) can!

I get constantly stopped...

GREAT car. When i first saw it, i thought it was ugly. i thought, "no way am I buying that ugly car". Then I sat in it. It was so roomy and comfortable, I thought, "i could nap in this car"!

i have experience great gas mileage which is so important to commuters like me. The only negative has been that I did some minor damage to one side of it (hit a small landscaping boulder), and it was expensive to repair. but, what car isn't?

I've had it for over a year now and it's been great. nothing beats Toyotal quality!

I wasn't looking for a car when I stumbled onto this one.  As a matter of fact, I'd thought the Scions were rather funny looking, and I couldn't imagine EVER wanting to drive one.  But, I went with a friend to look at cars one day (for her) and she asked me if I'd seen how roomy those 'ice cream truck' cars were.  I was less than interested until she told me that the base price of the vehicle was less than $13,500.  "Okay, I'll look" I said, rather excitedly.  I took it for a ride and was amazed!  It handled very smoothly, turned on a dime, took off with little coaxing and above all else,...

One of the others said this is the best car on the planet. I agree whole-heartedly!

I have two sons over 6'2" tall. They can sit in the BACK seat with plenty of head and knee room.

I get claustrophobia and this has lots of big windows that I can see out of, despite my shortness!

With bad knees, I appreciate that I don't have to climb up or down to get in, I just slide on over. And with a bad back, there is enough back support that even long trips have never bothered me.

I get 38 miles to the gallon highway. Unless I use ethanol gas. Then it drops to 28! In two years I put 70,000 miles on this...

I bought my 2006 Scion xB as a used car about six months ago.  It is maroon and it is a manual shift.  It does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but it does have power windows, a CD player, and AC.  I usually only drive around within a 5 minutes radius of my home, but I have taken it as far as one and a half hours away.  The only thing I miss from my previous cars is a GPS, which I could add if I wanted to. I tried this car 1 year b4 when I decided to get my first car. It is so comfortable and looks good. Since I am a foreign student, I dont have good credit history for loan. I love having unique, fun cars and this sure is one.  When I first saw it I thought there was no way that I would be interested in purchasing it.  It is the first car that I have owned that my husband could comfortably travel in.  The bonus was that it got good gas milage too.

Previous to this car we had always traveled in his truck that gets 17 mpg. :(     The back seat is so roomy even when the front seat is back the furthest it can go.

I love this car ,

 I went from a full sized family Van to the scion and every one fits . My son is tall and fits in this car with out hitting his head . We fit four adult men and me driving comfortably . She is not a hybrid but the gas mileage is great . Great on the highway Fast . some problems with up hill .  Also watch the paint The metal fleck paint gets hot in the summer . should have gotten flat color . Recommend tinting the windows also  . The heater and air work well .

I got an used xb last year and LOVE it! Living in LA, parking spaces can be tiny, and this thing can get in any super compact space. has great fgas mileage, and low maintenance costs. Also is a great ride on the freeway, and has an amazing tunrning radius.

I bought the scion  xb new in 2006. I absolutely love it. the car seems small but is extremely spacious. I have two teens and they say it is spacious.
