I love this bike. As far as indoor bikes go, it's great. I feel like I am actually riding a bike while working out, and can enjoy reading or watching TV, and time passes quickly. It's very smooth and relaxing. My only objection is the seat is not very comfortable. I would prefer a flatter, more padded seat.

Good product. This bike has been the key to me being able to get back in shape. The ease of use of the digital panel is wonderful. Variety of settings so that you can customize your ride and get the workout you desire. Good value for the price. I would buy this product again!

The bottom line is that this bikes works great and has helped us start exercising routines, which heretofore have evaporated in the winter when it is too cold and dark to jog or drag ourselves to the gym. That really is invaluable! Assembly was fine. The bike is easily adjustable to fit, and comfortable. (I do 45 minute sessions). There are plenty of settings as to difficulty of your "course." And the cup holder and reading stand are nicely functional. I also manage to stick a remote control (for Pandora) into the slot behind the console, which is a nifty trick. One thing I don't like - the cues the computer gives you during a workout are for an elliptical, or a different kind of bike - it will say "use your arms" or "change direction" neither of which are possible. I feel that is really a problem that should have been fixed. But I read anyway, so it's not a biggie. For the price, this has been amazing.

I purchased this bike last week.  The intial equipment set-up was relatively easy, however the directions were not totally clear for the handle bar & control panel areas. The price is definitely right for the available workout modes and features.  Prior to purchase, I did read reviews whereas others complained about the hard to read control panel when riding the bike, which is totally true.  Additionally, I'm 5'4" and if not seated in the proper position when pedally, my knees make very slight contact with the handle bars.  I strongly suggest finding this bike in your local sporting goods store and testing it out prior to purchase.  Overall, I really like this bike.  The operation of this bike is super smooth & quiet.  The profile programs (pre-prorammed workouts) are great.  You can even set a custom program for yourself with your name included.  Hopefully, someone will find the review helpful.

I was looking for a stationary bike to excercise at home with and was a little confused as to what was out there.  I did my research and found that the Schwinn was well rated amongst the online purchasing community.  I decided to give it a try (purchased the warranty just incase) and have never looked back. Although cheaper then the "elite" stationary bikes, I can't see how anything could work as well.  I've had it for about two and a half years and feel like it's as smooth and useful as the day I bought it.   The settings it has are amazing.  They are not too advanced that I get frustrated with not knowing if I'm doing the right workout, but they are direct.  Also, the small size of the bike makes it easy to keep in my house, and I don't have to worry about putting it away when people come over. Highly recommended, get a Schwinn 140 you won't regret it.
