Pizza has always been one of my favorite foods, but I've learned that I can't eat pizza as often as i would like without packing on an extra pound or two. I still like to feed my addiction every now and then like when I need something fast but filling for a quick dinner, Red Baron Classic Crust Supreme Pizza is what I call an "old standby".

Red Baron Classic Crust Supreme Pizza is a nice size pizza that will feed two adults with a slice or two left over or a family with one or two small children. The pizza weighs 24.2 oz. and sells for $3.99-4.99. You can find Red Baron pizzas in most grocery stores in the freezer section.

The Supreme Pizza comes with lots of yummy toppings such as sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, red peppers, green peppers and onions. The crust is made of high quality ingredients and I love the way it bakes up. It is not a thick crusted pizza and it is not a thin crust. I like think crust on rare occasions, I prefer to get the calories from meat instead of carbohydrates. Thin crust is good but sometimes the toppings make the crust wimpy and you are left with soggy crust or toppings rolling off the top. The crust on Red Baron Classic Crust Supreme Pizza has a perfect balance. It cooks up enough to be firm without being hard and holds the weight of the toppings just fine.

The recommended cooking time is 16-18 minutes. I find that 18-20 minutes will get the desired melted cheese ripple that I like.

Red Baron Classic Crust Supreme Pizza is part of the Schwan Food Company family. This is a company that delivers meals to your door. If you are familiar with them, you will know the quailty of food is very good.

~Flavor~

Red Baron Classic Crust Supreme Pizza has a great taste. The meat toppings are all over the top of the pizza and not just here and there like some frozen pizzas end up being when you open up the box. The toppings are generous and have a good flavor. I also find this pizza to be less greasy than some other frozen brands.

I like the variety of toppings on this pizza. The only thing I would add to make it better was green and black olives. That would make it the "ultimate" pizza for me. My husband of course would say more meat (canadian bacon) would make it better.

~Nutrition~

Nutrional information is based on 5 large slices of pizza. I usually slice it up in six pieces just because it is easier to handle.

~My Viewpoint~

This is a good quality frozen pizza with lots of toppings for a very reasonable price. If you need a quick meal, I highly recommend Red Baron Classic Crust Supreme Pizza!

Not bad for a frozen pizza, of course a fresh one from pizza place would win out if given choice!

My coworker eats Red Baron mini pizzas (i think) and they always look really good. I've still not tried one though! Thanks for the review, sounds good.

Never tried this all. I'll have to give it a shot.

I didn't realize that Red Baron is made by Schwann's. I'll have to try it, although I don't like anything green on my pizza, so I'll try a different variety.
