I have had great luck with Scholastic Book Clubs.  It is affordable... each of my children usually get a couple of books each order, depends on what the choices are that month.  They have a nice selection of items for all ages and abilities.  I have never had a problem with customer service.... they did not send one of my child's books, they were notified and immediately sent it out.  Not a problem.  I also like the program they have for a few months where parents can buy a coupon book that allows you to purchase a number of books (I think it was 3 or 4) for a much lower price.  (Books under...

scholastic book program is good for the school and has wonderful books at a reasonable price for the kids and the parents. scholastic book helps the school with making money for the school as well as other non profit programs. i have enjoyed all the books i got from them when i was in school. i also enjoy the scholastic book i am now getting with my own child. the scholastic book fair is an awesome way for the school to make money and a fun way for everyone to get to know  the scholastic book program. im happy to see that program has been going on strong from the time i was in school til the time...

Before Scholastic was bought out they had a very good customer service department. Now they foul up their records, blame the customeers for thier mistakes. Also they have a very threating manner.
