Schick Intuition Plus Sensitive Care razor is shave lotion and blade in one. It lathers, shaves, and moisturizes. This is a pretty great idea. I was really jazzed about this razor when I got it. I have dry sensitive skin on my legs and I keep an eye out for new ways to care for my skin while keeping my legs smooth.
The Sensitive Care razor has four blades. I am not really sure how many blades a razor needs to do the job. I guess they figure if two is good, four would be really good.
My first impression of the Schick Intuition Plus Sensitive Care razor was that it felt a little awkward in my hand. A bit top heavy, it takes a moment to figure out the best angle at which to hold it so the razor is flat against your skin.
The shave lotion is in a cake form that spreads when wet. This proved a bit awkward for me as well as I could not tell where I had shaved exactly and had narrow strips of stuble left. The "lather" is not really visible so you are guessing where you shaved. I have to keep rubbing my leg to make sure I shaved everywhere.
Another negative is I really can't get my arm pits as smooth as I like. I have small arm pits that the razor just can not get into correctly.
The shave cream is nice and I find it does not irritate my skin, it does keep the Intuition moving smoothly over my skin. It does seem to wear out pretty fast and I guess if the blades are still holding up, I will use my usual shave lotion. I can't toss a good blade just because the lotion has run out, it goes against my frugal nature!
I think the Schick Intuition Plus is a great idea and the end result is smooth skin. Shaving is pretty quick with this razor. I gave it four stars for these reasons despite it's short comings.
