Schick Intuition Plus Razor Review Summary

Silky skin loving ladies like the Schick Intuition Plus Razor because it has been upgraded from the original to be easier to handle with a slimmer handle and a less bulky overall feel. This triple bladed razor has a dense block of foaming shaving cream surrounding the blades which gives our reviewers a very close shave. PrincessSD says, "I just love how fast it shaves my legs and underarms, very close and smooth." However, the underside of the shaving cream solid tends to wear away faster then the top side, frustrating some reviewers. Still, this razor was rated highly overall for giving our beach bunnies a very smooth, silky shaving experience. Check out all of our women's razor reviews for opinions and info on all types!

Shick Intuiation Shaver

First off, I want to thank  Shick for inventing this razor! This razor is very convenient and does several jobs in half the time! For those of you that don't know, The Shick Intuiation is a razor that came out about 1-2 years ago, with the shaving cream built in around the cartridge....

For many years, I have been a faithful user of the Gillette Venus Razor for Women.  For Christmas, a friend bought me the Schick Intuition Plus Razor and I figured that I might as well try it.  I liked the idea of having the solid shaving cream bar connected to the razor.  Too bad it only lasted...

Intro
I've been shaving daily since I was young, and by the next day, I can definitely tell I need to do it again. I need to shave as close as I can so that I don't feel like I need to do it twice a day. I prefer to do it standing in the shower over sitting on the toilet or hiking my leg up onto the sink. I tried the Schick Intuition razor when it first came out, but the price and speed at which the cartridges were rendered unusable had me only using it on pool days, short skirt days, and vacation days. Seeing the Intuition Plus razor in the store, I thought maybe I was ready for an upgrade, and...

Well.. this was my very first razor. I gotta say, on my very first shave, I got a clean smooth shave. I had about 5 nicks on my knees though, but maybe that was just cause I don't have much experience toward it. On my second shave, I saw that I didn't get much of a good shave as I did in the first one.. I was upset. Devastated. My parents are really 'cheap', so.. I had to live with them until the end. I had ********-stubble full legs by the end of the night, and I shave in the morning every other day. The other thing I found was one side of the cartilidge ran out faster then the other.. ****! I'm...

I use to use intuition razors all the time until it was bumped up to $20 for a pack of 3. For a pack of razors I think that price is completely ridiculous. Other then the price being outrageous, the razors work pretty well. The soap wears down pretty fast so after a few uses it is wise to put shaving cream on. I learned that the hard way by shaving with barely any of its soap left on it. Other than that, if you don't have a lot of time to shave in the shower, this is definitely the razor to use.

I love the Intuition line, have been using it from the very beginning w/ the original.  I have everything down to a science and the soap lasts for quite some time.  I've even managed to learn to shave in such a way that the bottom doesn't sip away *much* faster than the top.

I just love how fast it shaves my legs and underarms, very close and smooth.  I don't really know about the moisturizing qualities, as I always use separate lotions after-bath anyway.

I have both the original and the Plus, and yes - the original soap bars last longer.

Good stuff if you know what you're doing! :)

The Schick Intuition Plus Razor has been such a convenient tool for me. The razor heads include the blades and a solid that lathers as you shave. No more using shave gel then shaving it off. Thay saves me lots of time and trouble in the mornings. In one simple swipe you are done. The head pivot so you can go straight up the knee and not worry about nicks. The refills can be a bit pricey but I've gotten weeks worth of shaving out of a single head.

The Schick Intuition Razor is a spectacular product. I enjoy using it and I really like the results.

What is it? The Schick Intuition Razor is a revolutionary razor that has soap and razor in one convenient product. It also comes in a Plus version, which has extra moisturizers to help prevent nicks and bumps.

How does it work? The razor has 3 blades, soap that lathers on contact and makes a smooth shaving experience.

Cost? On average, the Schick Intuition Razor is under $10 for the razor that comes with one cartridge. Refills cost approximately $10 for a 3 pack.

I have found that the Schick Intuition...

The Schick Intuition Razor has got to be the best razor I Know of.  You dont have to use shaving cream or soap since It is already on the cartridge.  All you have to do is wet your leg and the shave.  It will lather on its own.  The Schick Intuition razor is a little pricey but well worth it.  The refills are pretty expensive but the conveinance is worth the price.  I have been using the Schick Intuition Razor for years now.  I would try to catch them on sale if at all possible.  I always stock up when Cvs has a buy one get one sale.  I wouldnt ever use another razor besides the Schick...

I have two of these because one was free and the other, almost free after coupons. The concept of a razor built into shaving lotion is nifty, but in practice it's sloppy, cumbersome and wasteful. The first few times I shaved with the Intuition, the block of lotion surrounding the blade was so thick the razor hardly touched my skin. I think I got two or three decent shaves out of it before the block started to dissintegrate and fall off. This meant I had to use shaving lotion separately from the razor anyway, so what was the point?

The blade didn't seem to last as long as its lotion-free counterparts,...

The  Schick Intuition Razor is the best razor I have ever found. The razor head is encircled with a bar of soap so there is no need to lather with anything else. If you have sensitive skin there are razor heads made for just that purpose. The head of the razor is built in such a fashio as to follow the contours of the body.  Any where you shave or want to shave can be gotten to easily and safely.

After using the razor you will find your skin to be soft and smooth. No need to put lotion on those shaved areas as you skin will be moisturized by the soap heads. You will find with using this razor...

The Schick Intuition Plus is the perfect shaving companion for women!

For those of you who aren't familiar with the product, the Schick Intuition Plus razor is a razor that contains four blades surrounded by a soothing shaving cream bar.  The razor allows you to shave without wasting time lathering up your legs with shaving cream.  The razor offers a smooth, close shave leaving your legs touchably soft, all in one easy step.

Pros: The pros for this product should be pretty obvious.  First of all you don't have to waste time applying shaving cream.  You just shave your legs like normal, and...

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Schick Intuition Plus razor. It is the BEST thing I have ever purchased. It seemed that it never failed, no matter what razor I would buy... I would ALWAYS cut myself.... same spot... every time. I have a birthmark on the back of my calf. A mole that every female in my family has... I cannot TELL YOU how many times I've thought that I would bleed to death because of that stupid birth mark! I tried all the disposable lady shavers, I even for a while used a gilette mach 3... (which i still think is a GREAT razor as well, it just doesn't have the added perks of the...

I went to CVS in Dundalk Md to buy my razor for my legs and underarms. I purcahsed the Schick Intuition Razor for Women. I like it so much, I just go into the bath, I don't have to lather up my legs, the Schick Intuition Razor for Women, was great. There was a skin conditioning solid around the razor so I didn't have to steal my husbands shaving cream, which I always do anyway. When the blade dulled all I had to do was pop off the old one and slide the new one on in its place. It was so easy and that is what I like about it. The style of the Schick Intuition Razor fit nicely in my hand, so it was... read full review »

Yes, pricey. Yes, doesn't last very long~only 2-3 shaves per cartridge, but if you have super sensitive skin, then this is most definitley the razor for you. I discovered the schick intution razor a few years back when it was first introduced. At around $9USD for a razor starter set which includes a non-slip handle and 2 cartridges, or a 3 pack refill cartridges for the same, it will add up in the long run. Luckily, if you're good with coupons and sales, you can easily snatch some 3-pack refills for around $4-$5USD or so. The Intuition razor cartridges have a moistuizing and lathering shell that... read full review »
