Yes, pricey. Yes, doesn't last very long~only 2-3 shaves per cartridge, but if you have super sensitive skin, then this is most definitley the razor for you. I discovered the schick intution razor a few years back when it was first introduced. At around $9USD for a razor starter set which includes a non-slip handle and 2 cartridges, or a 3 pack refill cartridges for the same, it will add up in the long run. Luckily, if you're good with coupons and sales, you can easily snatch some 3-pack refills for around $4-$5USD or so. The Intuition razor cartridges have a moistuizing and lathering shell that surround the triple blades. It is inevitable for one side of the cartridge to be used up quicker than the other due to the constant contact with skin and pressure. It is best to use on larger areas like the legs and underarms, but not on smaller areas that require more attention. YOu don't have to use a shave gel or creme with the Schick Intuition system, but using one seems to provide in even better result. No gel? No problem as it lathers by itself with the introduction of water. But, all in all, this razor has absolutley saved me from razor burn and irritation that I would always get using any other brand system. I just wish that they would make the cartridges last longer up to six or so shaves!!!
