This razor is sharp!

Since I have been using the Shick3 blade, I have noticed quite an improvement regarding closeness verses using my traditional Bic razor. Also, the 3 blade's are sharper and stay sharper for a longer period of time. I like how the strip glides over the contour's of my face without the usual nick's and cut"s I used to get with the Bic3. Additionally, I enjoy how easy the handle is and make's shaving a breeze. Very good quality razor for the price.

My husband's favorite Schick Razor!

I am a frequent coupon shopper, I do my best to get things for free, or as inexpensive as possible. I was able to score a few of these Schick Hydro 3 Blade Razor for free, and thought we might give them a try. My husband tried it and instantly fell in love! We have been using the Mach 3 and they are so expensive, I was relieved to find a cheaper razor! It's dourable, smooth, and lasts a long time. I can use it for my legs and he can use it on his face, and the blade doesn't cut either of us. The shave is very smooth and close, and any brand of shaving cream is fine to use with this razor. The gel strip at the top leaves a smooth finish, and as it wears away, you know the life of your razor is coming to an end. The razor also comes with a little tray to store it in, and an extra blade! You can't get much better than that! I am very pleased with this product, I will continue to purchase this product, the coupons are great and the quality is even better.

Compared to the last few Schick razors, the Hydro 3 is by far the best one. The ultra gliding blades make the shave so much smoother and way less irritating than any other brand and even past Schick blades. It doesn't pull your skin which is what people fear the most. There is nothing worse than the feeling of your skin being pulled right off your face when all you want to do is shave. This is very slick, easy to use just like any other razor with no blade issues and a decent grip on the bottom of the razor. Did I mention the pivoting head?I bought three of these just incase my store runs out of them cause they're that great, really. If you have sensitive skin, this will help. Obviously you will still need some sensitive skin soap rather than the regular, just have the sensitive soap ready and you're good to go.I know alot of people have moved on to machines and battery operated razors, but to be honest, even battery operated razors can't give such a smooth shave like the hydro 3 does.

Schick Hydro 3 Blade Razor gives a great shave.

The Schick Hydro 3 Blade Razor is a great razor. I really like this razor. A friend of mine had about 20 of these razors that she bought in some kind of discount lot. My friend passed a couple of them down to me.My thoughts before having used the razor was three blades just isn't going to work that well. I havent used a three blade razor in many years. Most of the razors on the market today are four blades, five blades or more blades.I was really suprised after I used this razor. The schick Hydro 3 blade gives a really close shave. The blades on this razor just glide right over your skin. I was stubble free for about four days. The head on this razors is a pivoting one.The pivoting head on this razor works better than any other one I have used. The way the head moves make hard to shave places a breeze.I never worry about being cut with this razor no matter how carless I shave. They also make this razor with five blades for those of you that don't believe a 3 blade can work this good.

Hands-down, Schick Hydro 3 is the best blade razor!

I have been a Gillette Mach 3 user for the past 10 years, so when my wife said she could get some amazing coupon deals on the new Schick Hydro 3, I rolled my eyes, but who can turn down practically free nowadays, right? So, I tried one of the 10 she bought.  Immediately, I like the way the razor felt in my hand.  I have a pretty thick beard, and will let it go for 2-3 days sometimes, but the Hydro did not clog up with the shavings. I also have a tendency to get razor burn and shaving bumps with lots of other blade razors, but not with the Hydro.  It gave me a very close and smooth shave, without casuing any rawness or sensitivity, just like it claimed to do because of the built in skin guards.  The blade cartridges don't lose their edge through 10 or so shaves, and they are a significantly better value to purchase refills for than the Mach 3. And, I don't think the lubricating gel reservoir is just hype-it really does seem to glide over my skin more smoothly.  I am a convert, and my wife is happy to reduce our personal care budget!

Love this!!!!!

I love love love this razor!!  First I will say, I am a female, and am not a "diva" of razors.  Meaning, I usually use my husbands leftover used Fusions for shaving.  I do not have sensitive skin when it comes to shaving, but since he does, he uses a cartridge for a week then changes it out.  So I feel like I'm getting a new one anyway. But as expensive as the Fusions are, they have never done a good job on my legs.  I'll be driving along and look down at my knee and there in the sunlight is a big patch of prickly hair!  It is always missing patches and does not shave the back of my legs well at all. I've also tried many of the specialty razors made just for women and have been less than impressed with them as well.  So leftover Fusions it is...or was! There was a really good coupon for the new Schick Hydro (3 or 5 blade) so I decided to buy it for my hubby to see if he liked it so we could maybe switch from the Fusion (the cartridges are a lot cheaper).  But then I ended up using it first and fell in love with it.  It shaved all the hair, no patches, had a really nice and smooth glide, and is very reasonably priced. I've also switched my husband to the new Schick Quattro (which he loves), so we are officially now a Schick family! Don't be fooled into thinking a woman has to buy the "womens" razors because this one is perfect!

This Hydro is the BEST!!!

This is the best razor yet! At least the best that I have ever used. This Schick Hydro 3 is a great buy and well worth the money. I was hesitant to purchase this razor at first because the price is up there, but I decided to give it a try. Upon first use I was SHOCKED as to how well it shaved. The blades are positioned at just the right angle and the skin guards actually work! It does not hurt to shave at all with this razor. Until recently I did not notice that each blade comes with a lubricant, which is stored in reservoirs above these blades. This built in lubricant works nicely when the blade is fresh and there is no need for anything more. After most the lubricant is used I have noticed that something like saving cream is needed to help make the blade slide better. Over all, the razor works well and easily shaves off hair as though it is cutting through butter. The effect of the lubricant is also an added bonus leaving the skin feeling silky smooth after a shave. Absolutely one of the best razors I have ever used!

Made for a Man but I Deserve a Great Razor, Too!

I'll get my rant over and then proceed to the review of this Schick Hydro Razor. I am fed up with the prices of women's razors. It seems like I have two choices:  use a plastic disposable that cuts my skin to ribbons or pay and arm and a leg for a decent shave. In addition, I am tired of being told that I need a new blade every week or every time I shave. Highway Robbery! As a result of these feelings, I am very slow to replace blades, so normally by the time I need to purchase more, the razor I'm replacing the blades on is no longer being manufactured and the blades are impossible to find. Anyhow, I bought this razor as the result of a coupon I had, plus a sale at Walgreen's. I was planning on keeping this as an emergency razor for one of my guys, but ended up using it myself. I was incredibly impressed with how smooth the shave was with this razor. Women's razors just do not shave this well. In addition, they don't seem to offer coupons for women's razors. Fine - I'm using this one for now, and will consider purchasing men's razors and blades before I consider product manufactured for women. It's a man's world, ladies, so get smooth legs for yourself by shopping in the men's department!

Schich Hydro 2 razor is a slick buy!

The Schick Hydro 3 razor is a great investment. I personally like a regular razor better than an electric on my legs. I am a female and use a mans razor. I love this razor. It glides over your skin so smooth and soft. I had previously bought Mach 3 in the past but tried this when it first came out. I love it. I have also recommended it to my friends and family. The razor also puts out some high value coupons if you look for them. It is easy to clean and handle. It does not slip in your hand when your hand is wet. I have not yet cut myself when shaving with this one. You have the option of getting a 5 blade or 3 blade. I chose the 5 at first but the 3 blade works just as well. The company also puts out a shaving cream but i hav enot tried that. I actually bought a stock supply of these razors to add to christmas stockings. If you are going to buy a razor, i recomment this one. It works great.

Schick Hydro- Not just for men ;)

I bought the Schick Hydro 3 razor for my husband, but ended up keeping it for myself since I couldn't find any good deals on women's razors and I refuse to pay nine bucks for a crappy razor. Lemme tell you, I am so glad I kept this for myself. At first, I used it with my expensive Coochie Cream on my legs (since I was afraid of razor burn), but I liked the results so much that I've gotten braver. I've gotten great results with this razor using soap, body wash, or even just some Herbal Essences conditioner on my legs. Love it! I've been using this razor for about a month and I haven't had to change the blade yet- I shave my legs probably 2 times a week and under my arms almost daily. However, I do have fairly fine blonde hair on my legs, so that may be why I get away without changing the blade for a while. I did try this on my bikini line when I first got it (with Coochie Cream), but it left me with some killer razor burn. I'm still giving it 5 stars though since I'd buy it again (and it's not exactly intended for bikini lines :))
