After looking at several different mattresses, we decided on the Savvy Rest for several reasons - we wanted natural latex because it is hypoallergenic and for environmental reasons. Also, my husband grew up sleeping on a latex mattress and thought they were great. The concern we had about this one is that they are very expensive and not returnable. We tried the mattress in the store and it was ok, so we sprung for it. Unfortunately, we have tried multiple variations of firmness, but nothing has been comfortable. After researching for a couple of months, trying to find the perfect bed, we decided on going with natural dunlop latex & then chose Savvy Rest for our purchase. Slightly costlier, but worth every penny so far!

The beauty of this bed is that you can build it to your specifications and even split a queen or king down the middle so each side can have it's own configured layers! Kudos to the person who came up with this idea! Each bed consists of three, 3" layers of latex. After a year of research into mattress's I felt a latex mattress sounded like the best answer for us. We have been married for 30 years at the time and still had our original mattress, which in hindsight, was excellent innerspring. But I felt that since I have a lordotic spine, something that conforms to my spine might be better. And obviously, after 30 years it was time for a new mattress. Loving my Savvy Rest

I bought a King sized Savvy Rest Serenity in all splits in Dunlop Firm-Firm-Medium back in Dec 2010 after agonizing over what combination of firmness I should get. I don't live near a store that has them so it was a very tough decision. I did check it out beforehand in VA and tried different firmness there for about an hour, but it's very tough to discern between the difference in an hour. They all felt the same and comfortable. I had made up my mind to get a Savvy Rest, but with the price being so high, I didn't want to make the wrong decision and even though they offered to exchange a layer, I didn't want to deal with having to pay for shipping and sending it back and forth either.

Our Guest Loves Savvy Rest Too!

My husband and I both have a Savvy Rest organic mattress. We have a Queen and a Twin Extra Long we have had it for 3 years now and love it. Our 33 year old son came home to visit, who has been reluctant to buy a organic mattress because he is very cheap shopper. He spent the last 2 weeks sleeping on both our Savvy Rest mattresses.

After the first night he was amazed and blown away by the comfort. (Did I mention he is a really big guy?) He said, "Mom & Dad this is the best mattress I have ever slept on!" We switched rooms to the Queen size with him because he needed a bigger bed for the grandkids and still he loved the other Savvy Rest. He works very long hours and told us, "I see how important sleep is and having such a great mattress has made a difference in my work performance, it is also a peace of mind to wake up on a Savvy Rest." He now wants to get one for himself.

Never leave home without Savvy Rest!

After recently traveling for a long weekend, I was very surprised to find myself immediately aware of the lack of comfort with the mattress I was on. I have been sleeping on a Savvy Rest for about four years now and feel as though I can't sleep on anything else now! The difference in my sleep was dramatic to say the least, my husband and I both sweat through the last night, something that hadn't happened since before our Savvy Rest days. The greatest thing was realizing how dependable our Savvy Rest has been, obviously holding up to the comfort level and quality sleep we had even after the first month of owning it. I can only hope to fit my Savvy Rest Topper layer in the back of my car next time I travel, possibly having to leave my dog at home instead!

This bed sags in the middle

I have owned my Savvy rest for 20 days and have absolutely major sagging issues in the middle of the bed. Please note that my husband and I are not heavy people. I weigh approximately 125 lbs and he weighs approximately 155 lbs. Within 7 days, this mattress, began to noticeably sag in the middle. I specifically bought this mattress for the fact that I was told this mattress would not sag. I am so disappointed and am hoping for a 100% refund. I just notified Dominick with the pictures requested. My fist 5 nights on this mattress were wonderful, but after that the problem of sagging only continued to get worse. I have readjusted the layers several times with absolutely no improvement. My bed layers are firm (dunlop), medium (dunlop), and soft (talalay). I do not recommend this bed to anyone unless you like sleeping in a taco.

Savvy Rest is the best mattress we have ever owned!

The best mattress I ever owned has always been a natural latex mattress. When my husband and I got married my mother gave us a latex mattress from Sears, that mattress lasted us 40 years & we loved it, but we needed a bigger bed. So we bought a expensive Stearns and Foster, King size latex pillow top mattress for around $1,800 and it didn't last very long at all before we noticed big dips and valleys were sleeping in a well. We purchased our Savvy Rest Serenity mattress two years ago as a Christmas present for ourselves. Two years later, and I'm still stopping people on the street to tell them how much I love my bed! I've always had problems sleeping due to back, neck, and leg soreness. Our bed has completely erased all of those issues. After going through two futons, two sets of memory foam pads, and an actual innerspring mattress in 5 years, I was at my wit's end. I did extensive research on organic crib mattresses for my baby to be, and finally chose this mattress.  I asked so many questions that customer service ended up referring me to the owner who was very helpful.  I spoke to the owners of several other organic mattress companies, and they were giving me a bunch of fluff, Michael Penny was not.  This mattress is amazing, it has organically grown cotton fabric outer, grown, milled, and woven in the usa.  We took the side off the crib and put the crib right up to our mattress so I could cosleep with my baby, and I can attest that his crib mattress is SO comfortable, as I have slept on it multiple times with my baby, I sleep wit...

I was nearly poisoned by a Serta mattress that was laden with stinky chemicals that caused a rash, a headache, and nausea from the moment it was delivered until it was picked up (3 mos. later).   I then began my search for an organic mattress.  It took several months of searching, but I finally found a comfortable all-organic mattress at Savvy Rest.  This mattress is available online but was also available to test in a local store.  It cost more than I ever imagined I'd pay for a mattress, but I'm extremely satisfied, and I expect it to last at least 20 years.  There are three 3" layers to the mattress, so you can be very specific about your level of comfort.  I erred on the side of too soft at first, but after I exchanged 2 layers, I eventually found the exact firmness that suits me.  I highly recommend this mattress.

My husband and I purchased a Savvy bed over a year ago, and couldn't be happer that we did so! The bed, the customer service, and the SLEEP are amazing! I just found out that I am pregnant and cannot wait to buy a Savvy crib mattress. I keep hoping they are going to expand their baby line!

I'm an orthopedic nurse with a bad back.  Pain has been a constant issue.  After a year, this bed still performs beautifully.  We get excellent support and have substantially less back pain. 

One of our grandchildren had respiratory issues and we replaced his crib mattress and he's also improved.
