Two years later and still thrilled with our Savvy Rest mattress
We purchased our Savvy Rest Serenity mattress two years ago as a Christmas present for ourselves. Two years later, and I'm still stopping people on the street to tell them how much I love my bed! I've always had problems sleeping due to back, neck, and leg soreness. Our bed has completely erased all of those issues. After going through two futons, two sets of memory foam pads, and an actual innerspring mattress in 5 years, I was at my wit's end. We had originally been looking at the memory foam mattresses, but I get really warm really easily. We still wanted something as supportive that also did not transfer movement, and my searches led me to latex. The sample pieces gave us a good idea of the feel of the material, so we went to the next step and tried a mattress out at a local organic goods store. I almost fell asleep right there in the store.
The third best thing about our bed (after comfort and lack of motion transference) is the different firmness level on both sides. Before finding Savvy Rest, I was beginning to despair of being able to sleep in the same bed as my husband since our bed requirements are so different. In the end, I think the chance for both of us to be comfortable on the same bed sold it for him.
Yes, the mattresses are pretty expensive compared to other mainstream options. However, if they last as long as advertised (lifetime!), then we figured we come out on top in the long run. We hope so anyway. Regardless, we love the bed and would buy it again if we had it to do all over. Our bed is perfect perfect PERFECT! We love it.
