walmart.com carries this VERY reasonably priced storage full/queen headboard ($99.88)

(other storage style headboards were several hundred to over $1000 in price!). 

Spacious display area for alarm clock and books features two adjustable shelves; Enclosed (laminate cardboard) back panel has cord access (6x punch out holes)

Assembled Size:  62 3/4 x 10 7/8 x 40 5/8"h

easy to assemble and easy to understand instructions. Don't use power tools (as directions advised) so parts won't split (Laminate finish manufactured wood). The item is sturdy with plenty of shelf room and looks very nice especially for the price.
