My lease was up on my 2003 Jeep Liberty, which I loved and was my first venture out of a car. It suited me well, but I was ready to move to something a LITTLE bigger. I'm still a bit of a whimp when driving a big truck - so this seemed like the next logical step.
My mind was set on a Nissan Murano. That is, until I found that the options I was looking for - leather, power/heated seats, etc was going to cost me close to $40,000. Not what I was looking for. The Saturn XR came equipped with everything I was looking for for nearly $15,000 less.
The space in the Vue is also great! I have 2 "nieces" that are with me regularly. With that comes carseats and strollers - space is a necessity! The back seat leaves plenty of room and the trunk space is also very spacious. Room for groceries and what ever else ends up in the cart.
As the car is still on it's first tank of gas - I can't give an exact idea on the mileage - but is supposed to be about 23 to 25 mpg on the highway. Much better than the 19 I was averaging in my Liberty.
Bottom line for me so far - it's a great VUE for me as an owner!
