I purchased a Saturn Ion 2 Quad after surviving a terrible head on collision in a Saturn SC1 Coupe, I KNEW I would never drive anything other than a Saturn again. That car saved my life. I loved that car and was devistated to learn they discontinued them when I had to replace it following the collision.

I settled for this model, as there was nothing else to choose from other than a sedan and the little SUV.

I did like the placement of the instrument panel but that is the most exciting thing about this car. After the inititial adjustment, it is very convenient as the panel is always in the perifural vision, yet not as a distraction. You do not have to drop your eye to check speed, gas, etc. Runs great, no major repairs and the mileage is comparable to other makes and models of its size.

I wish this car had been sportier.

The extra "third door" is cool as it is wonderful for loading and unloading just about anything.

Still not too much leg room in the rear for humans, but the cargo space and various configuations available with the tricked out passenger seat and the fold down rear seats as well.

I've got the sedan ION.. and I totally love it! Good on gas... cute on the inside... but def a poor choice for the interior. It stains like hell. Anything and everything!
