What's supposed to be a super easy and convenient snack is practically impossible to open! I had to use two pairs of pliers to open the cheese the other day. Then had to stab open with a pen to get it open. This absurd for being the most expensive string cheese on the market. Not to mention it when I opened it the cheese was extremely hard and dry?! Totally unacceptable! Will never buy this again.

I love Sargento String Cheese, and am happy to have a low fat protein snack for the morning or afternoon. Sargento string cheese is very tasty and I enjoy peeling the strands. I also love that I can eat it without worrying about the fat content. My only negative point is the plastic is not easy to open!

Over the past year I have been trying to get my daughter to lose weight and get healthier. Snacking was a major issue for her. Since I have multiple children - rather than restrict a child to dieting, I decided it would be best for us all to change the way we eat and relate to food. I've always enjoyed Sargento as a brand so when I spotted a coupon online for these cheese sticks I jumped on it. I didn't really expect much difference in taste and just as expected, there wasn't any major noticeable difference. The cheese was very easy and fun to pull apart - we really enjoy the pulling apart. That is part of the fun in the string cheese experience. It has also made other meal times a bit more convenient in ways I didn't expect. I have been using the fact that they are pre measured, single serve packages to great advantage in the area of breakfast and lunch preparations. They have been easy to toss over a garden salad or into an egg white omelet. The only downfall I can think of with these is that they are a bit on the expensive side. There are other brands that offer similar products with more cost efficiency. Overall, the taste is pretty much the same as the original version but they could consider reducing the overall price of their products.

Sargento makes very good quality cheeses-their Light String Cheese tastes amazing. The cheese is 'light' but the taste is wonderful. I can't tell that it is 'light' cheese. The cheese has a nice, soft, delicate texture. Sargento Light String Cheese is very fresh. It can be pulled off by strands or you can eat the whole stick in a couple of bites.

I love string cheese but I'm on Weight Watchers and I'm always looking for a low point snack to have at my second job. All of the other string cheese on the market is 2 WW points but the Sargento Light string cheese is only 1 point. Always trying to save a point here and there and besides that these are delicious and are just the thing to get me through till dinner.

If you are into challenges, you might want to purchase a package of **Sargento Light String Cheese**, made with *Natural Reduced Fat Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese*.  I purchased a package containing 24 individually wrapped pieces and was not able to open even one piece without using a sharp kitchen knife.  When my son complained that he couldn't open his string cheese, I thought he was being dramatic and told him to try harder.  When he came to me sobbing and begged me to help, I did the obligatory eye-roll before showing him how easy it is to open string cheese.  My bad.  Not only did the plastic wrapping barely budge, but the portion that did move ripped right off of the cheese stick, leaving the cheese intact and no tab to pull to open it.    I purchased **Sargento Light String Cheese** because each piece is *made with 2% milk* and is only *50 calories*.  The package states that there is 50% less fat and 25% fewer calories in each piece compared to Low Moisture Mozzarella Cheese.  Perhaps that is why the cheese didn't taste very good.  It was bland and reminded me of the non-fat cheese that I used to unappetizingly consume several years ago.  I would rather eat more calories and actually enjoy my string cheese. I give **Sargento Light String Cheese** *two thumbs down* for both the taste and the inconvenience of trying to open the individual packages.
